@Matt Miller Stop giving advice, please. You have NO CLUE what you're talking about. Built Turbo 2v's making 1000+ RWHP are doing it at FAR MORE cost than Coyote cars. Your two valve with a "vortex blower" (it's VORTECH) will be putting down power equivalent to a mild bolt-on junkyard Coyote that has INFINITELY more versatility. It's cute that 2v's are in the low 8's. The Coyote platform is in the 3's. Anyone who advocates for anything but a 4v or Coyote to make power shouldn't be telling others what to do. The 2v is inferior in almost every single way. To make any serious power, you're looking at heavily ported Trick Flow heads, a forged bottom end, and boost. You let me know when a 2v can EVER be built to 600 RWHP NA or when a 2v can hit 700+ RWHP reliably with nothing but a small blower.

On the 2v the first time yes. We used a crank shaft that we had laying around that wasn’t as scarred. We had it machined and got the rod bearing to fit it. The second time it didn’t damage the crank shaft much, so we were able to smooth it and roll a couple of bearing in through the oil pan.
