While this cover is not bad, there could have been a bit more improvement. My main problem that I'll discuss is that Alejandro's overall voice and tone does not quite fit the original, especially near the beginning of the song. Obviously with an English cover of a Japanese song there will be a few inconsistencies due to the change of languages, but when there is a problem that can be fixed just simply by singing in a different tone then you cannot rely on that factor. Alejandro's tone sounds a bit too tired and bored throughout most of the song, when compared to Coda who follows the opening's sense of desperation and courage by increasing their loudness after almost every lyric. Also Alejandro's vocals at some points throughout the song do not seem to pair as well with the instrumental, at one point it even felt like the instrumental overshadowed Alejandro's voice due to his tone not really matching it. Finally on some lyrics Alejandro seems to either slur a word or two or not match the original feel as well, I understand that he is a voice actor so hearing some of these problems would seem a bit easy to improve. I really do like this cover, I am just trying to offer a bit of criticism in hopes that it will be taken and try to be improved upon for the future reference.
