I have a 2019 LT (not a Trail Boss) and I agree the tires are so small. I leveled the front up 2 inches and put on 34.5'' x11.8'' on my factory 20'' wheels and they are a perfect fit! No rub at all, Nitto terra grappler. Didn't have the recons back then....
That would kinda be the dream... the look of an aggressive mud tire but the usability of a A/T... something I will seriously have to look into... keep up the great work 👍
I’m 25 seconds into this video and your “Sub” license plate had me laughing out loud! I’ve never seen your channel before but you already won me over. #subscribed
Nice. Ill have to keep these tires in mind when Im ready to change mine out. Your after market wheels looked real good on the boss. As always, the doggos add "aw's" to your vids..
Next week i am getting my new nitto recon grapplers size 285/75R17 tirea put on my 2024 zr2. They are a 34 inch tall tire. Getting them mounted on black rhino raid model matte bronze colored wheels.
I’ve been looking for 35x11.50r20 but I can’t seem to Oder or find any ??? All I’ve seen were 35x13.50r20, are 11.50 not available to the public?? Btw the truck looks sweet ! 👍
That is awesome that you got those tires. I was going to get the Nitto, for my 2014 Silverado. But I couldn’t get a good deal, I found a god deal for some BF Goodwrench.
I just put ridge grapplers on my truck. But those look great! 1” spacer would make it perfect for me. Just a touch outside the wheel well. Nitto seem to run quiet. The ridge grapplers are quiet too.
Looks sweet, I just bought 34" nitto ridge grapplers, I hadn't heard of these tires. I like them on the stock rims too. Personally not a fan of "poke" in my opinion. All in all the truck looks awesome.
I have ridge grapplers and they are super quiet and they are 10 ply E rated tire so they are heavy but quiet driving. They do awesome in all types of weather. I have 10k miles on mine and still look brand new.
I also have the 10 ply E rated tires 34”. I agree with B E that they are super quiet. I’m running them on a 3.5 Ecoboost with stock exhaust and you can barely here them over the engine. They are comparable to running my winter tires for loudness. They are noticeably heavier but I think that is due to going from a stock 31.9” to 34” tire. I do recommend them.
Looks badass!!! I personally tried getting the Toyo Open Country but they were on National back order. Went with Nitto Terra Grappler A/T. I wanted a non-aggressive looking side wall but could also perform on trails. And not something I had to hear humming on the road. The Nittos perform well, and are quiet 🤐
After Nitto bought Toyo tires, they are some of the best out their. I'm curious to see a long term review on these tires. They look really nice. Almost looks like K02s in the center pattern.
Hey, buddy, just checking in to see how them tires were doing.I'm getting ready to order some recon.Grapplers from my 22 trail boss and was just curious That they still ride good. And you think they look better than to be of good rich and all the other brands as far as all terrain
Damn it nitto. Just got my 20x10 tis 544 with 33x1250/20 ridge grapplers from custom offsets. 😁 Run the ridges and wait on reviews for the recons for next set.
Second that, had them about a year and absolutely love them. Brother in law has been running them on his trucks for years and he has nothing bad to say about them.
you haven’t had any problems? cause i know the wheels are 18. i’m looking to lift my truck and keep my stock wheels but i know the lift requires at least 20” wheels
Just went to a video were you run your duratrac stock tire and they sound slightly different but just as much tire noise at like 45 50 mph but slowing down to lower speeds yeah those nitos are definitely not as loud around 30 mhp and less
Hey man i know this is an old video, never saw you turn the wheels to verify if this rubs on the setup. Can you let me know. Have this truck and dont want to level the front but would love these tires if it doesn't rub.
Looks awesome I just bought a 22 trail boss new version and teady to put these on,they look nice! Did it slow the power up any? Mine is a 6.2L but i like my power, just curious before i spend that money??
Dang, I ordered my '21 (built, awaiting delivery) with the 18's thinking that I would do a wheel/tire package in the future. For $500, maybe I should have gone with the factory 20's adding these tires.
@@michaelwilson1958 I found them at a local shop, then had Discount Tire match them. Actually though, I got paranoid because half the people end up admitting that 295s rub after they’ve driven around a couple weeks. Im getting 285/70 Toyo AT3s on Saturday. Just didn’t want to deal with it.
@@kevbry2998 Thanks for the info! I want bigger tires, the stock tires just look too small to me! I'm paranoid as well. Don't want to drop $1,600 and have issues! Trying to find honest answers!! Good luck!
Hey, buddy, I just wanted to ask a question. Did the thirty five slow it down anyway, They look awesome. I just wanted to know if the bigger tire slowed it down any. I love my power. I do have the six point two liter 2022 new trail boss, So I didn't know if I should go with the thirty four eleven fifty or the thirty five eleven fifty ?? I think 35 probably would look better but don't want to loose power
A trailboss comes with 32 not 33 I put 33 x 12.5 nito's on mine didn't put spacers on mine did level it. And I have no rubbing, they fill out the wheel whale real nice
I’d imagine on that zero offset wheel and since those tires are 11.5 wide; rubbing was not an issue?. Any offset tho and you may have some rubbing. I put 295/70/18 (34.4) toyo RT with a -12 offset my trailboss and had to remove the plate behind the mudguard and trim the mudguard a bit.
Tires do really fit the truck nicely. They should last a long time, especially if the truck keeps breaking down.
Lmao 😂

Man that looks badass! I think it looks 100 times better with the stock wheels with bigger tires. Love it!!!
nitto now has the best looking AT tire and hybrid tire and you can’t deny the nitto performance and longevity
Your truck looks really good with those tires. They're surprisingly quiet. That's a pretty aggressive tread for an A/T. Overall, that's badass setup.
Truck looks so much better now with out those wide tires and rims to me
It's easy to be excited and positive when they were given to you.
Yeah $1,700 or so for everyone else 😅
They look good. And a plus that they fit on the stock rims .👍🏻
Cooper STT Pro’s are the way to go ⭐️

Any rubbing issue?
Unpopular opinion but I wouldn’t change anything on it now! Looks great!
Yeppers looks great
Nice tires. They look great on your Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. ❤️👍
Awesome man! Definitely going to get them!

Nice looking tire, I’ll need to see a long term review before I drop the $$$ on them.
Looks way better than the low profile rubber band tires that stick out.

Just got my TrailBoss leveled this weekend and running nitto ridge grappler. Love the way they look and much quieter then my stock Duratraks.
What size are your Ridge Grapplers and what level kit do you have?
@@caseyackman1819
285/70R18 on stock rims. Might have been able to go bigger, but didn't want to trim and kept factory mud flaps. Rough country 1.5"
@@jeremyw9213is that just a front leveling kit?
@@alexparker6413 yes

Matte Black stickers.
Definitely liking these tires!
Looks like could use some 1.5" or 2" wheel spacers for just a touch more stance.
Was thinking that to would look alot better
That tread design looks amazing!

What brand are the spacers??
Looks so much better than that awful mall crawler look you were going for.

falken wildpeak at3w is what i went with and i love them. aggressive and super quiet
Same here. Great tire!

Awesome tires man BEAST
Truck looks great! Would love to see it with the running boards off as well!!
I personally had to go with the AMP Research electric steps. Only seen when you need them
they're smooth and look great but rub on my 2022 trail boss with 1.5" spacers. I took off the front mud flaps too. 285/65/r20 Recons

How are the tires a year later? I m looking at those tires as well look like great hwy performers. the recon grappler is next on the list
The new shoes look great on the Trailboss 🔥
i ordered some nitto ridge grapplers yesterday, cant wait to put them on my high country
How much are they?
@@miketapia1230 i ordered 295/55r20 on amazon they were about $320 a tire
Oh ok thanks
They certainly look good. Might just be my speakers but I thought I heard tire wah wah wah in that driving clip.
Probably hearing my exhaust
Wow those look good! Love those stock trail boss rims too. I'd like to get those for my 2017 LT.
These and the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT are pretty sick. Just those with some 18x9 Methods 😉
Man it I love watching your videos I tried to model my truck after baby squat but sadly it was totaled 3 days ago
Do they rub? Any trimming required?
No. ruclips.net/video/ANqC7cYxcbA/видео.html
Wished they had the snowflake symbol. I would switch from my duratacs to these on my Xterra. Now on my Sierra I will keep the ridge grapplers in them.

it looks amazing! 💯💯💯
I was at a Chevy dealer today and there was a 2019 trail boss that was identical to yours out there.

Looks good man.
you haven’t had any problems? cause i know the wheels are 18. i’m looking to lift my truck and keep my stock wheels but i know the lift requires at least 20” wheels

Weird, not seeing this size listed on their site yet.
Was there any trimming to get those those 35s to fit with no rubbing?
Now why don’t they have the 35x11.5 for sale?? It’s not even on their website. I bought them in 295/60

any rubbing with the tires fully turned either way?
