I remember these things. In the early 90s, on a specific route past a hospital, there was a dip and bump in the road. If you were on one of these , sitting at the back, and the driver was giving it the beans, you'd get air time when the back axle when over the dip and bump. Great times!
I wish some Leopards received 2 speed ZF boxes. The 11 litre Leyland engine sounds joyous with a torque converter automatic. Denmark had buses so equipped as did Brisbane Australia. Sydney experimented with a Leopard fitted with a Voith.
