Thank you so much for the insight!! Does the rent include electricty and water? If if‘s not too personal, how much monthly budget did you plan including food, activities and shopping etc? I‘m going to study in Shanghai as well and not sure what expenses to expect:‘)
It doesn’t include electricity and water… I actually spend way too much! I think about 350-500€ (2700RMB-4000RMB) is really enough but I spend a lot more than that which is actually not necessary😭🤣
Hi! Do you have any picture references for Xu Hui Campus by any chance? I am considering whether to stay in Tao Li Yuan double room dorm as well but I cant find much photos/videos of how it looks before deciding :D thanks in advance!
Hi Xinyi, thanks so much for your video it is really helpful! 🥰🥰 I’m actually moving to Shanghai next month to study for one year. I want to rent a 自如寓 bc I’m also just a student and want to find sth relatively cheap. Also doesn’t have to be in the city centre. Do you think it’s possible to find something under 4000rmb? And do the Agents on Ziroom know a little bit of English? Hope you have a lovely day 🥰
i will also rent an apartment in shanghai next semester but don't they have a kitchen in the flat? :( won't it be hard to live in an apartment without kitchen? because you can't even prepare a breakfast :( what is your experiences about it? do you have any suggestion to me
You can cook here or make your own easy dishes! Many people buy portable stoves or something like an electric hot pot cooker! There is also often a refrigerator included in Chinese apartments. Personally, I don't eat breakfast and often eat outside or in the school cafeteria😅
Yes but in my video I said that I’m moving to Xuhui campus and there are only double rooms, I didn't want that so I went looking for a place myself hahahah, I still get my scholarship money though!
I’ve just started a new Instagram account: @xiinyi.wang
