I had 4 breakdowns, 1. wedding reception 2.with kids 3.family members in heavy rain 4. while going to the airport. Indian consumer court like hell.. If possible to take Breakdown history of this car/failure of major parts repeatedly ,from the year 2000 to 2023. These skoda & Volkswagen criminals topmost, since it's India they survive cos our consumer court is useless

What a common man will do, have experienced same for my Vw Ameo 2017 model at 6000kms warranty was rejected. I tried mailing Vw no response, I changed disk and pads to Bosch at local garage. All we can do is to stay away from Vw

i have faced worst experience with Ramani VW Erode with respect to Road Side assistance(Tow request due to Rat bite). Service adviser is not capable to deal with the customers. Once i escalate to VW , Ramani VW Erode service Manager solved the issue. very simple issue. RSA is not tagged to my Vehicle reg number / Engine /Chase number.My worry is , if a owner is not capable of doing all these escalations etc.., Service center will loot the money for sure.

I will be booking a GT soon but during TD I found the AC inadequate and blower was constantly ON and running at max all the time. Do you have the issue?
Hi sir I own a virtus. One thing i would like to say is, if you compare AC with other brands like Maruti, Honda, Or ford the cooling system is bit different in volkswagen. I enquired about this to some technicians and what they say is, In volkswagen the control unit maintains the temperature to the degree that we set. When the cabin reaches that temperature it only maintains the cabin from not further heating up. It does not continuously keep cooling the cabin. This is the reason we feel the cooling might be low. But it will not take to a point where we start sweating. Otherwise the car is such a delight to drive. You can definitely get it
@@haripraveen1308lol that is called climate control system sir. I have Hyundai venue which is very good in cooling in summer. I think vw has small ac compressor . Not just vw but I had Fiat Punto which has a weak ac as well. And this ac issue in virtus/slavia is huge and complained by many users .
@@haripraveen1308 No, you are being mislead. Most cars nowadays come with the feature you described, except some lower variants. It is called Automatic Climate Control (ACC). I also own a Suzuki Swift which comes with ACC where you set the temp and forget about it. The control unit will make sure the cabin temperature is maintained. What I observed in the GT I test drove was that for the whole 30 mins the blower was continuously working at max (outside temperature was around 34 degrees C at Chennai at the time) yet it did not cool the cabin adequately. The car was a 2023 model and had 450 kms on the odo.
@@keerthi4513 blower has nothing to do with cooling. It's the condensor cut off period that makes the difference in cooling. You can go check with volkswagen on how their AC mechanism works before judging with comparing to swift.
So every showroom should treat customers with humanity. Be it tata be it Mahindra be it a Korean manufacturers or German manufacturers they are your bread and butter payers. Every one never owns a RUclips channel or an influencer. But I really respect the Showroom effort to erase the bad remarks

Ramini Volkswagen Tirunelveli is worst, I have Polo GT and faced engine vibrations and front axle noise. Its been 5 years they haven't cleared the problem, every year they will call and say bring the car we will clear it but they didn't.

It's hightime, you should terminate the contract with TVS Girling and find a quality manufacturer for the rotors and pads. Everything is good in the car except this. Please do cost cutting on some other parts. Not the brakes 😢
VW has been providing locally manufactured (TVS Girling) brakes in their cars for a very long time. They are shit. Feedback is really bad and they judder at speeds above 80 km. I had this issue from day 1 in my polo. When will vw realise that brakes are the most important part in a car. Even maruti cars have better brake systems.

I really wonder what's the issue in accepting that the rotor is the issue by the technicians. The brakes do judder in 35-40k odd km. I've replaced the rotors and brake pads twice so far in my 1.49k km on my Jazz i-Dtec. They actually could replace the brake pads and rotors as the issue has come just at 2000 km. But, point to note, things like Alloy wheels, brake rotors and disc pads don't come under warranty. Neenga YT la kizhichittathaala VW padhari ungalukku help pannuthu... Naa Tirunelveli kaaran thaa. Just living near Ramani VW. We have a Vento 1.6 TDI DSG as well. As you echoed, when it comes to reliability, the Japs Suzuki, Honda and Toyotas are very reliable and less prone to issues than the German cars. For those who want to drive more kms and want to keep the car in the longer run, The Japanese cars are less risky. It's not because they have better service, they don't come with serious issues in the first place. As the Japs sell more, they also have adequate inventory and replace the parts much quicker than the Germans. German cars are built great and indeed lovely to drive for the enthusiasts. I'd pick a German as a second or a fun car to drive occasionally. But, not as a daily driver. We have a Taigun 1.0 Topline MT and Skoda Slavia 1.0 Ambition MT as well. Luckily Taigun is without issues and the Slavia which we have has got an issue with auto touch down/up power window and has to fiddle with the button to raise the window. Awaiting for the part for more than 2 months to get it replaced under warranty.😂😂😂 German quality daaw.😂😂😂
