I am surprised seeing at this comment writing off diesel engines , haven't you heard about XUV 300 diesel with 300 nm torque. It is a monster and beast.
Remember, a diesel is a diesel is a diesel no matter what type of tsi, tdi,tgdi injection a petrol engine has, it can't have that torque output and torque rush of a diesel engine....

I recently drove on that road my Taigun gt manual. I’ve got to say a few things:
You are one hell of a driver. The road is superb but damn even on a straight line I could hardly touch 190. It’s freaking scary man!!!. Beside the engine sound becomes a tad boomy and I was not comfortable with pushing the car past 170.
There are some corners on that road and I took one of those at 170. The vehicle remained planted but I swear I won’t do this again. Finally I had to hard break from 180 and I felt like I was driving a truck with a loud noise coming from the breaks.
This never happened before but man I felt like my breaks were giving up on me.
Overall I had to try and experience what you experienced but to do what you did, you need iron dragon size balls with god level skills and focus.
This was thrill-worthy but I am not doing this again. 😅😅😅

The reason why I didnt vuy Taigun is because the build quality is not the best, lack of service centres and harder suspension compared to seltos. My seltos is doin great in all aspects so far.
If this is Bangalore mysore expressway, then this will be fined 20 times by the time you reach Bangalore

I tried diesel automatic, but somehow I did not feel the power of diesel engine with Seltos. Where as Tigun/Kushaq have the thing .

I've driven the creta diesel. It felt quite nimble. If we hard press the throttle, it'll easily reach 150+ without a hitch. The seltos driver is prolly scared to death cause of the poor build quality

I wont say its most stable car. But that road isn't world class so be cautious. Car seems effortless till 160 kmph.

Yes.. virtus/slavia can be considered. Car is having above average ground clearance and a huge boot. So it will be a perfect choice . I baught my car in 2021 and virtus was not available then . Otherwise I would have bought virtus .
