Ah that makes sense; thought it was just your regular green-waste. Same happens here in Oz too; if there's food in the greens bin it gets done weekly.

This isn't the same truck but its exactly like it. They put it out because greens is collected every other week and they put food waste in those bins so 4 weeks with meats and other food is not something they want.

Yeah. We do every other week though. Recycle is done on the week that greens isn't.

Are the fully green carts done weekly for food waste and yard and the grey lid green body carts for just Yard waste and done every month/4 weeks???

Nope. If its a green waste cart it gets picked up with all of the others, regarless of lid color. If its green waste it gets emptied every other week.
