IMO, bounce is a much bigger factor than speed. Iga can handle speed (Gauff) and power (Sabalenka) just fine. If I remember correctly, in Rome she returned a 201 km/h serve from Gauff with such ease that Coco barely managed to move.

Best match of Rome 24 was Sabalenka-Svitolina 100%. It was point-by-point for a long time & anyone's game until the last point. High-wire stuff & the loser, Svitolina was gutted & shell-shocked after the match! Box office by a mile!

I find Iga vs Rybakina boring. Aryna is for me a far better competitor and their matches are just classy.

Only Rybakina can beat Iga on her favorite surfaces and courts.
If Rybakina doesn’t play a tournament where Iga traditionally dominates then Iga is pretty much guaranteed to win.

Weston, again lot of if’s and but’s….to win something you have to be there. Again, Ryba disappointed by retirement due to illness..it’s endless story…gastroenteritis, allergies, thighs, back, hits herself with the racquet.
Really she should have a proper coaching staff taking care of her schedule, physiotherapy, mental health, Vukov can stay in the box, but she should invest to the proper coaching staff, even it hurts for a while.
Iga is improving, her first serve was already excellent, she defends well, changing defend to attack, footwork, soon there is no chance for Elena to beat her. Only Wimbledon she has greater chances to win.
