- It's the final part of our 2023/24 squad review. This time we are focussing on the forwards. As with the previous reviews we give our reviews of each player, overall score, and if we would potentially move them on for next season too. There is plenty to cover in this one.

Barnes will have a good season if rully fit. Intelligent player and this is good against kow block whereas Gordon pace is good counter attacking. Nice ability to mix it up
Isak had one the league's best defenders, VDV, breakdancing on the floor.

His vision, passes, shots! Injuries, shock horror, hampered his returns. But!
A quality player.
(I hadn't heard use "hampered" when I typed it!)

That extra mile, beyond expectations etc!
He runs his bits off until he's used all possible energy. Literally doesn't stop. 👏👏👏 My player of the season. Just ahead of Bruno, and that's saying something!
Missing tricks? How many times have you shouted at the team, SJP or TV, about doing the basics? I have a lot. He doesn't not perform basics superbly.
Isak 9.5
Top top quality 👌 occasionally doesn't chase back that little bit.
Aye, when he's getting nowt to work with that's shit no doubt.
Only but, is that with slight ghosting around their box a little too much, and a little bit visible 'injured form'.
However, what an amazing front man. What a find!
Spot on Chris about Gordon I wasn't fussed on him joining us but my God I am glad he did! I am a huge fan of him
Murphy 7
His improvement is clear to see. Some of his play has been very good, some hair-pullingly frustrating. Occasional shot on target that is a blinder, many simply not good enough.

Being able to play different positions, also good. He has a ceiling, that won't get higher.

Wilson 7
He's a quality natural forward without doubt.
Loses 3 due to his injuries. Totally knacks our bigger picture game plan way too often.
Reliability a near 1(/10).
Time to let go while we can and improve fitness.
I cant remember the game, but there was 1 Barnes got no assists, but it was down to poor finishing and a good save or 2. He could have had 3 assists in that game. I think a 7 is a very fair rating.
Gordon won us a load of pens too. 10/10. Miggy cost us in chelsea cup game too, should have run into corner, but shot a ridiculously hard shot instead. Id say 5. Bang average. Lost without Trips. Like a dog whos lost his owner.
Good show! One thing few notices or mentions is Wilsons inability to run, his legs are gone and his pressing is abysmal, he just points and joggs.
Hi lads enjoyed the show. Is there an argument to be had in using all our summer spending on the defensive side? Goalkeeper(Marma) Centre Half(Diomande)and CDM (Ederson).With Willock and Joelinton fit again to operate that switcheroo on the left and Barnes as cover I think we have enough on that side to switch Gordon to the right. Just a thought.

Ratings have been affected by Injury, Isak and Gordon have been world class imo, Murphy has been quality but a couple of games gone missing hence the score. Love Miggy but he has been found out, time to use his value to upgrade that side of the attack. Gordon has been outstanding, my player of the season, only Miggy to be moved on for me, Wilson guarantees goals when fit, even if he only plays 50% of games, that’s 10 goals for me, rather than someone we are blooding into this league. If we could get £15m for him, maybe let him go but if we want Champions league, he will help us achieve that goal
It's easy to watch from angle isn't it and give an opinion.
DCL. A decent return THIS SEASON. But imagine him with EH training? Injury injury injury! Avoid

A lot of my scores are affected by injury, Barnes Isak and Wilson. Gordon my player of the season, Murphy has been class, however has gone missing in a few games, but done enough to stay in our squad. Miggy has been found out, love the lad but it’s time he moved on if we are to progress. Get some money for him and invest in a quality right winger, Olise would be my choice, would love Bowen, but he does not fit club’s profile

Wilson would have scored loads more goals with a different manager in the early days here. Feeding on scraps he was clinical in the Bruce years. Isak will benefit from the side Eddie is building, he could be anything. World class and going nowhere imo

1 purple patch. That aside, he simply hasn't done enough.

A little constructive criticism.Please amend that bloody bass on the intro music.Gettin ear raped from the soundbar 😂(as your dialogue sound level is too low ) The way he wails Fabien Schar makes me smirk & that Maccam score you’ve put in makes my Sunderland mate slam & assault your channel lol

Gordon is fabulous but we need to chill on the Ronaldo and Salah talk 😂🤣 Ronaldo scored 41 goals in 2007, he was alien. Hazard, Ronaldo and Salah are premier league goats. Gordon has had one very good season so far.
