This from Dr. Criswell's funeral. I still miss him. O for more men like him today who preach the inerrant, infallible, all inspired word of God unashamedly, unabashedly, without fear. He had no peer. He was perhaps the greatest preacher in my lifetime. AMEN
I agree the tempo is perfect, this is usually rushed. Very moving, thanks for sharing it with us. Did this church make a record back in the 70's or 80's? The choir loft looks familiar like I've seen it on an album before.
Glory to God!
Love the interlude and key change!!
Soli Deo Gloria
Just wow! Thank you God for your people . . .
Amazing Grace, what a blessed hymn that brings sinners home.. .. May God be with you all !!!

The best song ever! Hallelujah to the Lord God Almighty Jesus Christ!
very elegant tempo. It's really nice to hear the organ.
Love the tempo! That's Church!!!
They had sang so well God bless Me
Wonderful ...
This Beautiful hymn sounds so much MORE meaningful and INSPIRATIONAL when it is sung A CAPPELLA just as it IS MEANT TO BE DONE!!!!
I like it better with accompaniment!
gracefully music 👍👍👍👍
Yes!
It was sung as a congregational hymn at a funeral - therefore, the tempo was selected accordingly.
Love the key change on the final verse. How did the congregation know to break between the fourth and last verse for the organ interlude?

I am blessed, and honored by this music, how long ago was this song sang?
2002 at the funeral of Dr. W. A. Criswell
@@ToddWilliamWhite My condolences for the loss.
Whats a hymnal?!!
Nice but could have been revved up just a bit. Sounded too slow and draggy.
jensmom604 it was for a funeral. Most songs during a funeral are a touch slower
