- This is the band that played right after our heart PJ's 2 show. We played many a show with these awesome Sac people. Mighty K was/is a fan. I post this with respect to GG's copywriter. I post it for free to let people enjoy these old times. I will happily take it down if any of the 4 people in the band at the time of this recording wish me too.
AMAZING drummer (and band). It has been an honor to be able to play shows with them from time to time.
Come back Groovie Ghoulies the world needs you!
How cool is the drummer!
Love how she chomps that gum while playing!
Dude if I could go back in time I'd try so hard to talk to Wendy hahaha
@@dakotachoate76 Dream girl indeed
@@Pre-Expatriate She is dreamy. Do you know her name, stage name or real name. Love watching her play drums.
Wendy Powell
I f^^^^^^ miss that place and that era, the 90's had such great bands. Sushi Sunday was my religion, let there be no others.
Thanks for posting this. I miss seeing these guys. So many good memories with the Ghoulies.
classic ghoulies right there. never got to see them with wendy.
I’ve watched this countless times
I miss those days and I miss playing in that old SF classic bar.
@@wayneschiller8174too bad I didn’t live I sac then, do now
Can't fathom why they didn't go as big or bigger than Green Day. They even had hot chicks in the band!
I love GG. Played several shows with them. Still, their subject matter is niche. You really can’t fathom why Green Day was bigger. C’ mon. I like GG better but I totally get why one is huge and the other is cult. The world can’t be that confusing to you.
@@wickedlee664 Just had to be unnecessarily rude at the end
@@donmajestic5258 Sorry, it was a little jerky. I could definitely tone it down a bit :)
Green Day didn't really get "big" until they became a little more accessible with Dookie. Also timing, radio/MTV push was obviously a huge part of it. 1994 was the perfect time to push something like Dookie and get away from the grunge scene that was starting to get a little stale. I don't think the Ghoulies would have ever gotten really big even with a lot of pushing unless they had changed their sound, but that is part of their appeal to me.
3000x better than green day-and that lot. i played a gig with Kepi,he's great.
Thanks, Clinton, and thank you GG! Those were great times. I know all of us in Slackbone always loved sharing a bill with those folks.
Wendy my love...
