I visited this bridge earlier in the year..it felt so surreal to be there. The silence was deafening. It felt like someone was there behind me watching at all times. I shared words with Kurt’s memorial stoned before sliding a pick in there and telling him how much his art meant to me and the world. Wishing and hoping he could hear me. Kurt cobain will never ever be forgotten in todays standard as an icon. Or anything but. If any of you have the opportunity to visit it, I’d absolutely tell you to do so. It is exhilarating.
I'm a big Nirvana fan and visited this bridge with my dad about two years ago. It was definitely a cool experience and made me feel a little more connected to Kurt's something in the way... like some how you could just feel the influence there? I don't know how to describe it, definitely don't regret stopping by there though!

As we were leaving a group of about 4 KIDS ( I was 20 at the time so yes 16 year olds were little kids to me) that sat at the little table before the brigade and proceeded to start shooting up.

We'd ride our bikes down there, and just vibe and throw rocks and sticks into the water for hours and just talk about unimportant stuff like what we were learning in school or summer plans. Its been almost 15 years. Time marches on and all that, I guess.
