I like Jackery but I don’t agree that this is a whole home back up when it’s not a 50 amp setup! You will never run your entire home off this w/ a 30 amp connection.
My 30 amp gas generator ran my entire 1700sq ft home several times over the past 7 years. Is there a difference between battery and gas running through 30amp connection?
If you live inGlasgow Scotland how does solar charge it when we can have 7 days of blanket grey clouds with a max of 30 watts input per 415 watt solar panels save your money and go on holiday where the sun shines
Looking at the best sellers on Amazon, it seems Jackery and Ecoflow sell significantly more than Anker and Bluetti, with Jackery taking the top spot. The Jackery brand name is so strong, they still sell a ton of their old models like the 500!
Jackery are a bit "Bose", they spend a lot on marketing. They have displays in various shops all over Japan, Anker have a section in one dedicated electronics shop (mostly devoted to their pocket batteries / usb chargers / projectors / speakers), Ecoflow in a few big electrocnic shops but nowhere else, and Bluetti barely exist!
Thanks for this info One question I can’t find the answer to. Can this unit provide 240v while charging from AC? I know that’s a limitation on the F3800. Please say it can (LOL)
Your panel is split phase 240v coming into your house from the street. Half your panel is 120v and each side. If you have a cloths drier or electric oven, they are 240v and there will be a breaker that spans both phases of the panel.
Only some including your fridge and washer. The oven, electric water heater, AC compressor are 240V. If the power is out we only need our fridge and a few outlets to work. We can live without 240V for a period of time.
Great video review 👍 thanks !

Two of them (connected via the smart transfer switch) will give you a 60 amp setup. 👍

Define how large the house is and what you are running. 30A is definitely doable with basic essentials.
@@im4udevco My junction box in my tiny Japanese flat is 30amps!
Really depends on the house size and heating/cooling types.
Reasonable price. Best deal would be ~$2.5k

Ecoflow, Bluetti, Anker & Jackery!
Which of these is really the undisputable market leader?

I'm not sure, sorry. Hopefully someone will test that soon.
Sorry, 15 A isn’t going to cut it! My Victron charge controllers can do over 100 A
i will never understand volts.
arent household appliances 120v?
