I have watched many different preppers on RUclips and they all talk about having at least two hundred dollars stashed in your car for emergencies on the road, so it makes a lot of sense to keep some extra money hidden in your home. Books are a great way to keep your mind occupied, but also to learn from as well. How to books, old cookbooks, yes I said old, cookbooks like your grandmother or great grandmother had with the notations on the margins, that listed their own variations on that recipe. Who know's maybe you could use it for a grid down meal cooked on your butane survival stove or in your fireplace. Remember that they were living in a time of uncertainty.

Absolutely! Having that emergency cash stashed away is a smart move, and old cookbooks definitely bring a personal touch to prepping. Those family recipes can be lifesavers in tough times! Thanks for the Feedback. Stay Safe.
