  • In this 3rd video of the carburetor series I tried to explain how Yamaha YBR 125 is able to give fuel average of 50+km/L on highways.
    Detailed explanation of how the air bypass valve diaphragm works and how it leans the air fuel mixture at cruising RPMs.
    This CV carburetor is designed to give maximum fuel economy with least amount of emissions. This carburetor is not designed to provide sudden initial pickup but it can sustain a cruising speed of 80km with superb economy. So less fuel stops, less cost :)

    Hello sir I am facing a problem
    After cleaning my carb bike is unable to matain a healthy idal and after 6to 7k rpm it will slowly come to idle please help

      I believe the air fuel mixture is too lean,
      It may be because of adjustment of idle mixture screw or float level

      @@motovlogics1425 thanks for replying issues has been resolved now problem was the choke membrane (dont know exact name ) it was not lubed properly. Problem was as i let go of throttle it will slowly come to idle i was really scared that i might be messed it up

      Main apni bike key tunning or service etc khud he kerta hun . But I would recommend Khaled Yamaha 1s at gajumata.

    Sir your theory is wrong it only works on hard declaration not on idle spring is two strong behind this diaphragm it is used to prevent from back fires during high declaration. On ideal air pass from two points one from front hole and one which is at top of carb both air holes lifting fuel from pilot jet and feed it to four holes underneath butterfly valve and mixing screw.When this small diaphragm come back on hard declaration little piston cuts upper air feed hole which is lifting fuel from pilot jet now only one pot is lifting fuel which in in front of carb hence reducing the fuel flow through pilot hole, I have done a lot of experiments on this carburettor as I converted my engine to more cc give me your number I like to talk with u are only one more person from Pk who curious about carb same as me!
