    Why can't this happen in Nigeria?
    Boko Haram, Herdsmen attack and Bandits have killed millions in the last 7 years in northern Nigeria and tens of millions internally displaced.
    The government keeps playing politics with people's life and prosperity, what's the need of democracy when people's life n prosperity are not respected and protected , hundreds of protesters were injured and killed in Lekki toll gate last year by the government

      Burkina Faso is like any post colonial African country of diverse languages, cultures and history with Christianity and Islam as major religions, the south being largely French Catholics and the north being Sunni Muslims. The French favored the southern regions that they christianized and the country's political and economic power are in the hands of the south. The north is undeveloped, uneducated and poor. US and European neocolonialism is encouraging the government to further ignore the difficult lives of the north and at the same time they are encouraging Islamist movement in the north through their proxies.

      @@ahmedeensaeed991 Thanks for the information. I have another question....Will it be better for the people that the Military is in control now and why?

    • @ahmedeensaeed991
      @ahmedeensaeed991 2 года назад +1

      It all depends on what the military wants to do. If they want to crush the islamists by military annihilation, the people will suffer more in death, injuries and imprisonment. If the military wants peaceful resolution of the problem, they will end the war in the north by bringing the islamists to share power in the government and by providing infrastructure developments in roads, schools, hospitals

    • @ahmedeensaeed991
      @ahmedeensaeed991 2 года назад +1

      If the military is smart enough to know that the disfranchisement, alienation and underdevelopment of the Muslim north is the loophole neocolonialists use to destabilize Burkina Faso and solve the inequality, the military good for all Burkinabes.

      @@ahmedeensaeed991 So what your saying is most of the division in most African countries is Religion, mind control by colonial masters and power grabbing, not thinking about the people first? If that is so how will that change and what do you think the best solution for all African countries to move forward?
