Awesome El Al Flight. I Have Flown El Al When I Was 13 Years Old in May 1979. (38 Years Ago) on The Boeing 747-200. Visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Sea of Galilee, Bethlehem, and Masada. What A Great Time!!!!!!
Nice video! I fly each year to Israel, sometimes El Al, sometimes United or Delta. I agree - the security at Ben Gurion is a bit confusing, but it’s effective and you have to be patient. The 777 is nice because it’s still 3-3-3, unlike most other airlines. The food and service have improved in the last few years. The tv screens are terrible. I still like the old 747s, but I’m excited to try the new 787!
Always a great video and fantastic sound. I've heard the GoPro5, and the sound was superior for the first time. One thing I've noticed is that whenever there's a loud sound, that surround-sound stereo fades away for several seconds. It's not your fault, either. I'm so glad you don't include music during these flights, other than what's already included coming from the PA system. Take care, and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Heather
At 47:50, you can see two Delta 767s with an Etihad A380 behind them and a Qatar A380 in front of them. The 767 is a very big passenger plane but NO WHERE NEAR as big as the A380!!😃
I like the applause after the landing. I think that was a very nice gesture for a good landing. Is this a common feature of El Al flights. Love Israel by the way. Shalom.
Food on El Al is kosher. Security has a different system, which isn't as harsh as in other countries, but is more effective, obviously. Usually, they'll occasionally ask you questions and maybe ask you to open your suitcase. They profile people as early as they enter a barrier in the airport entrance, or when you check in overseas, so they can prevent problems.
***** Yes I am. Anyways, the police follow El Al flights everywhere, El Al were the first to use armed people disguised as passengers I think. Israeli planes have anti rocket defense systems as well.
Yes, the security at Ben Gurion airport is really good, and yes, the food in El Al airlines is always kosher and delicious because it's fresh, unlike kosher food on other airlines, because that food came right out of the freezer!
They've been cash-strapped for a while, and they tend to use their planes to the full extent as they don't have a large fleet. The 767s, 747s and a couple of the 777s will be replaced with the 787s when they arrive next year. It's part of the reason I haven't flown with them since 2009, but I'll be looking forward to again once the fleet's modernized.
Indeed it isn't. Check out what he said above in the description, because all his vids are like this. If you want vids of entire flights from start to finish, Check out 'inflight video' or 'World Aviation HD.' There are others, and there are playlists. I found his playlist by typing "Full Flight Videos (topic)" in the search field, and you'll get both types: those with all the parts of the flight and those with with the entire flights. Have fun. Heather
Don't know how you saw "great views" from that seat when more than 50 percent of the view was blocked by the wing, Who wants to spend hours looking at the top of the wing on any flight flight? Poor seating choice and boring viewpoint.....

All el al pilots have all served in the Israeli Air Force that's why they are so skilled,
Im israeli. And my dad works at the air force. He said that every pilot at elal are starting from the air force

muy bonito video, felicidades
What you call not so good (Ben Gurion) I would call amazing. Safest airport in the world, which is a feat given the threats against it.
31:53 wow the 02 arena!!! My favourite band performed there before :)))

Hey love the video, how do you travel around the world making so many flight videos, do you do it as a hobby or do you have to travel with a job

Yes, it happens quite regularly on their flights. Some other airlines also have a tradition of clapping on landing, but not as prevalent.
Yes, it is very common for El Al passengers to claps right after smooth landings🛬👌👌
It very cool this is a el al 777 200 dash er
How tight is the security at Ben Gurion? Is the food on the flight koser? and if so, is it good?

Thank You and Shalom! There was another guy on here that said that in JFK the police or airport security follow the EL AL flights? Are you Jewish?

Would like more screenshots of the Altitude/Ground Speed/Outside Temperature. Nevertheless - Great video!
awesome!
i like your s vídeos , so nice. have you visited mexico?
El Al look to be behind the times. Dated looking seats especially Business class which resembles what the best world airlines had in the mid nineties.

❤ Very smooth mellow flight 🕎
My postgradute psychiatry student wants to know whether that prolonged view of the wing causes arousa for U
nice

min 37.00
with my compliments
i like to seat in front of a 777 engine. it sounds nice ! Just a curious question. why are you afraid from background sounds in the cabin?
It's not literal. He just means he's sorry for so much noise.
this can't be the full flight
it isn't
He's edited it...
The full flight would take at least 5 hours. xp

I've been on them, they were awful, I hope to never fly them again.
Interesting. NO FOOD. Wow must be hungry.
Lol it’s not even the full flight even though the title said it is....
The end of the wing you show. I know what those are for
Hate when they say "seven seven seven" instead of "triple seven"!
I know as well
Porque as palmas??
If flown on El Al Airlines multiple times because I'm Jewish but I don't live in tel aviv the flight I take is New York to tel aviv

First Comment
Or that is for. Most of your viewers probably don't
?????
have they named the plane after Bibi Netanyahu?!
No; Netanya's a city in Israel, north of Tel Aviv and halfway to the port city of Haifa. It's home to a large Russian-Israeli population.
Netanya is named after Nathan Strauss.

You do know that you don't have to comment right?
Jesus, could U not turn off your camera between 3&11.40 or did Uintend to bore us to death? No comments -why ?speech impediment?
Why is everyone clapping?
tradition.
*****
Not much you can do ofcourse. :(
in Israelis its every time like this sometimes also all the plane start to sing "havno shalom habit (we bring peace to home):'
because the pilot managed to make it land safely without this tin can falling apart, lol!
Uhm, it's a 777. Far from a tin can. In terms of airplane years, no 777 is "old".
Hahahahahahahaha 9:29
