Rockford Health System Welcomes Lenore Skenazy, the Founder of the Free Range Kids Movement

Lenore Skenazy is a New York City parent who first came to national prominence when she and her husband let their nine-year old son ride home alone on the subway. She launched a blog about that controversial decision and today is a nationally-syndicated columnist, speaker and author.
She believes in arming parents with accurate information and teaching kids to be both safe and independent. She blogs at www.freerangekids.com and hosts the show “World’s Worst Mom” on Discovery Life that teaches parents to let go of their fears and raise confident children.
