Looting large and small businesses is totally wrong. Now the business have to start over causing their product insurance,property incurrence rates increase then the inventories looted has to be replaced. These increased cost have to be recouped by including the cost of each item. Mom and Pop businesses will not be able to recover from the looting and will close. Now when protesting is over and life returns to normal we will be faced with higher cost of products bought which we complained were outrageously priced. This protest didn’t help the economy none what so ever. Citizens killing citizens,families killing families will continue to happen where is the mass protest for theses “wrongs”.
Don't forget those insurance rates are going to be felt right across the board as the insurance companies need to make it back. So thank you bloody idiots you've done everyone in.

Infrared camera's should be employed to augment security cameras. An infrared camera will be able to see faces under masks. Looting may be deterred or made difficult by deploying liquid soap on store floors or entry/exits. Spraying soap, outside, at entry/exits would make difficult gripping objects used to break-in.
