I am 64 years old . I am seeing small worms like white colour. I had consulted doctor and prescribed me melbandazole 100 mg to take one tablet each for 3 days at bed time. I hope I will get complete cure after completing the said course of 3 days if not should I repeat the same after 3 weeks. Please advise . Previously I had taken albendazole 400 mg plus 3 tablet DEC at a time but not getting cured. Then the doctor changed the tablet to melbandazole.
Yes, mebendazole is better, you should also consider family therapy, let us treat all the family members even if they don’t have symptoms
