Our first real adventure in Hungary kicks off in Budapest with our travel guest, Luke, who will be joining us for the next month and a half. We've settled into this beautiful city and begin our exploration on the Pest side. We start at St. Stephen's Basilica, marveling at its grandeur before heading to the iconic Hungarian Parliament Building. A stroll along the Danube leads us to the poignant Iron Shoe Memorial, a stark reminder of history.
Taking a break, we find ourselves in a sunny park, enjoying sandwiches, the skatepark, and the fountains. The day unfolds with laughter and curiosity as we weave through the vibrant streets of Budapest, soaking in the architecture and atmosphere.
