Great video, thank you! I'm in a lesser-known Contessa 28 sailor - a great, tough, cheap little coastal cruiser! The She 36 I believe was one of the boats in the '79 Fastnet that rescued another crew. Very well-built old tubs! Thanks for posting and keep it up, mate!
Reminds me of when I was looking for a boat over 30 years ago. I looked at about 50, collected a lot of photos. What a great idea to do a video record of one's search. Great way to learn about many boats, thanks for sharing this with us. One becomes one's own "surveyor" this way. Sad to see boats in a neglected state like this, especially ones with so much potential. Beyond a certain age, one must be realistic about how much one can commit oneself to in the way of a "project".
I've found a folkboat but I haven't decided whether it's too small to take around the world... I just can't get over the cost of yachts on this country

Think that's the right choice dude, looks like a lot of work. Beautiful shape though.
Contessa has a fully skegged rudder which I like.
Good luck man. Hoping you find something not rotten to the core.
It would be a big project!
Subscribed as promised,
What happened to the peoples boat?
How much was she?
A nice boat, but it will be a money pit! Thanks for the video. How are you getting on with your boat?

What on earth are you talking about? There is no way on earth that this boat is a 'Contessa 32 killer'. How?
The she 31 had many characteristics similar to the contessa, if you read a bit about it, you might understand
