oo yes i've heard many good things about mics from Elgato! I think either one would be a really good choice. from personal experience, since I've only had the Rode mic and have never tried Elgato's, I would say the Rode mic produces very very clear and crisp audio, even from a good distance, and is very easy to connect and use 😃
@@littlehooliagan Yeah, Rode makes great microphones. One came with one of my previous camera kits and the audio was very good. Who knows I might just get a Rode mic again lol. 😂

Wow i'm literally trying to do the exact same thing. I have a MacBook 15 inch, and I'm strongly considering upgrading to a mac mini or to buy another laptop.
i honestly highly recommend it. the mac mini with the m1 chip is really powerful and has such high performance for such a reasonable price range! but if you want more of a travel device, then their new macbooks are great too!

oh that's perfect then! mac mini is definitely the way to go for your line of work and yup, the adobe softwares are starting to work well now too :) and yeah just HDMI to connect the mac mini to the monitor! it was so much more simple than i thought, considering this was my first time have a desktop setup haha

This was an excellent video! I really enjoyed seeing the joy you felt opening and setting up your new Apple mac mini with the new M-1 chip along with a new monitor and microphone. We can all relate to the fun of setting up a new system. If this had been done about 10 year's ago, you would have been able to install it, just like me using a 2010 mac mini (the last model with an internal DVD super-drive) paired with an Apple 27-inch (none thunderbolt) cinema display. This setup requires no parts to assemble and no other devices because the Apple cinema display has both a built-in video camera and speakers plus the resolution of the monitor is 2560 by 1440 which, is higher than with the HDMI port. It is so sad that Apple Inc., no longer sales displays unless you buy an iMac apart from their 6K model at $6,000 (when you include the support stand) which, is out of the price range for most people. Hope, they will make a cheaper model in the future for the "Rest of Us". And again, great video and thank you for sharing it with us.

hi! honestly i don't know if 3rd party bluetooth accessories would work, since i've only tried using apple products for the initial setup, but i think 3rd party WIRED accessories would definitely work
i used a function called Sidecar! it should be under your settings :) I would definitely look up "apple sidecar second display" on google for clearer steps on how to get it to work!

hi! i recommend getting the 34 inch monitor because mine (the 29in one) has amazing picture quality already and works perfectly with my mac mini, but if i had more money and desk space, i definitely would have gone with the 34 in because a bigger monitor means more multitasking and you'll be able to work more smoothly! so if you can afford the bigger monitor, i'd say go with it! :)

hi! sorry i don't speak tagalog so i had to use google translate for your question haha so hopefully it translated correctly! yes, the mac mini can be used as a personal/all in one pc because it's basically a desktop! all you need is a monitor and you would be good to go! i think it's perfect for freelancing :) hope that helps!

hii hmm well i think it ultimately depends on what you're planning on mostly using it for/what your occupation is, etc! do you know what you'll mostly be using it for? like is this for just daily computer use or are you doing any graphic design/videoediting/coding etc on it?
hii sorry for the late reply! i suggest getting the 16gb ram with 256gb storage, which is what mine is and i do the same thing as you! i edit videos, do work/school, and code as well! for the stuff we do, having a 16gb ram will allow for less chances of running out of ram when you're using editing softwares and the mac mini is already non-upgradeable so its better to have the 16gb! and in terms of storage, i use an external harddrive so it helps with not having to worry about running out of storage, so thats why i go with the smaller option :)
