    I made three for my daughter for her birthday this month. I love them and I wanted her to wear them as stakes. Thank you for a simple but elegant design. ❤❤

    Another bracelet I love, thank you so much Ms Barclay - I made one watching your video right away with pearls. It is such a pretty (tennis) bracelet. I will make another as you suggest. I should have a little box with your name on it with all the beauties I create from your trainings. :)

      @@JoBarclayLoggie Hi Jo and thankyou for your lovely reply, I am still very new to the weaving and have loved making some of the more simple patterns and I have also started making up my own designs now, it's quite amazing just how quickly the costs can start to mount up tho, especially when your like me and want all the different beads, I have mainly been working with the various 2 and 3 holed Czech beads and size 12 and 15 toho seeds at the moment which are my favourites, I will be watching out for more of your great tutorials now x

    Hi Jo.can beading thread be used too as when using the Fireline 6lb I can.t get the beads to sit as nice as yours even pulling tight the thread shows. I used the same beads as you. Miyuki 11 seeds and 3 mm fire polished beads.Thank you for your reply.Patricia

    • @JoBarclayLoggie
      @JoBarclayLoggie  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Patricia
      Sorry for my delayed response-I’ve had a little time off! By all means try the beading thread-it’s it something like nymo you normally use? We all have our preferred threads and for me I trust the strength of the feline and love that it doesn’t split while I’m beading! (Especially if I have to reverse engineer some of my steps!😉) I’m not sure where your thread is showing, but you could always try adding in an extra 11/0 and that may help hide it. Alternatively if the thread is doing either side of the fire Polish beads you could try adding in a little 15/0 either side of the 3mm bead…xx

      Thanking you Jo for answering and explaining.My silver lined Miyuki size 11 seed beads don.t seem to be as round as yours.I shall try with other Miyuki colour seeds seem to be more of a round shape. I shall try with them as I love this sweet little bracelet. Thanking you Jo and all the very best for 2024. Patricia

    Hi, how can I add thread to my work?

    • @JoBarclayLoggie
      @JoBarclayLoggie  5 месяцев назад

      The easiest place to add in thread would be though the right angle weave...so through your base. With about 15cms of thread to go, weave away through the sides, tops and bottoms passing through beads at all times and when you start a new thread, you would weave it in through a few rounds of right angle weave before exiting the point at which you stopped beading with the old piece of thread....x
