    You can also go through the knot loop with the eye of the needle, backwards and you won’t have to change your needle. I do a lot of hand sewing and found a few tricks💙👍🏻

      Very excited to make this! I have so many 3mm fire polished and 8s! When you add the new thread did you go just through the crystal not the 8 then go under the original thread to make your loop?

    • @HandcraftedinVenice
      @HandcraftedinVenice  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@melaniehime4204 Yes, I went through the crystal and not the 8 because when you clip the thread the end can go into the crystal, it's a little bigger than the 8. I then pick up a thread that's between the crystal and the 8. It's just under the 8 so you can't see the knot.

      I've had no luck with putting the camera closer, so I'm trying some software to zoom. Don't make any promises, but will upload a new "zoomed" video if it works. In the meantime, can you zoom in on what you are viewing on?

    Is the Crystal bead round or Bicone? I would love to make this bracelet. Thank you for the tutorial. 🙂

    • @HandcraftedinVenice
      @HandcraftedinVenice  10 месяцев назад +2

      Czech fire polished crystals are their own shape. They are neither totally round or a true bicone. They have facets that a polished smooth and less angular than a bicone.

      It looks white. I've never seen actual clear. Although they market it as clear it appears white when you use it.

    • @HandcraftedinVenice
      @HandcraftedinVenice  7 месяцев назад +1

      I haven't tried those sizes but it would probably work. Try it. You will need more crystals and beads if you use the smaller size.

    Have you tried with the 11/0 seed beads?

    • @HandcraftedinVenice
      @HandcraftedinVenice  9 месяцев назад

      You'd have to adjust the size of the crystals. If you use the 11/0 beads I think you'll have too much of a gap between the gold or silver beads. That's why I haven't tried it. If you try it, let me know, post a pic of how it turns out.
