- Hey, I am Fatih, I explore Almaty Kazakhstan today with my lovely Kazakh friend. Almaty is such a green city and there some tourist attractions to do so. The top ones are Charyn Canyon, Big Almaty Lake, Sergev Cathedral, First president park and Alatau Mountains.

Yeahh no taxi at all! You just wait next to the road lift your hand and one of the cars will be stop and take you. Ask for the price before get on :)
Maybe the situation is getting better,i found on a governmantal site the statement that they have taxis www.almaty-kazakhstan.net/travel/taxis/ i went to aqtobe but since i was with a local friend i forgot about this important issue,think that i live in switzeraland and we have a similar situation 😃

Most Kazakhs speak Russian as a second or even first language, and might not be familiar with Turkish.
