No reason to act like children when tasting international food you don't like for the first time. My statement is not just for you, but the rest of your fellow travelers too. At times, it could be disrespectful to show such expressions, after people offer their generosity of sharing their cultural meals with you. Taste it, and if you don't like it, just put it down.
Agreed. Literally even as a child I’d know better than to act that way when trying something new. If you don’t like something you just say it’s not for me or say it’s a just not my tastes. I know for certain id never be able to eat yak head so I’d just use the excuse that I’m vegan or something even though I’m not than say something like “oh this is gross and weird”

This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
I remember learning about how horses were very culturally significant to Indo-Europeans and they brought horses and chariots with them as they migrated in to Europe, Persia and India. My parents thought that it is a corrupt nation, when they are probably thinking about Turkmenistan. Thank you do this video!
Bro, I would suggest you to visit Almaty - it is a cultural capital, it is much bigger (yeah and more traffic jam :D), the landscape is way more fascinating and breath-taking! Astana is also beautiful, but colder and has like modern vibes. Depends on what you are looking for
Nur-Sultan looks like a resort city, which isn't really a good thing tbh, very artificial, no historical buildings, not a lot of people. If I go to Kazakhstan, I'd probably prefer Almaty which has real history and is truly alive. I don't see what's interesting in Nur-Sultan "architecture", just go to Disneyland instead.
