My daughter plays hockey and recently went for our provincial tryouts. Unfortunately she didn't make it and was clearly disappointed. I am using your videos to help her raise a game and we will go for tryouts again next year. Thank you so much for such awesome training, you are indeed a great teacher!

Where do you get that turf or something to practice on for at home practice?

A few months back, I picked up a stick after a break of nearly two decades at age forty. I had thought that playing hockey after such a long break would be easy, like riding a bicycle; but i was soon disabused of that notion
I am in reasonably good shape, and I still possess all the fundamental skills and yet, that essential hockey skill - seamless ball control - had diminished significantly. But thanks to your excellent video, and many hours of practice in my living room, I am glad to say that it is returning.
The exercises you recommend are awesome, not only for novices but also for reigniting the dormant skill flame in older players reentering after a sabbatical.
    Again, thank you so much!!!

Love hearing this!! Well done for putting in the work - skills have to be earned, but are more rewarding because of that fact!

I'm going through exactly the same process now! 35 haven't played since 22. Basics are still OK but the nuances and speed of stick is horrible as well as my left hand on the stick just doesn't feel so natural!

Awesome tips, thanks for these! Perfect for a starting hockey player like me :). Tip: you should use a mic or something imho, proper voice audio would better fit the high level of the explanation :).

This is a great help thanks! I had a question on the second drill on 3d skills - is that just for practice, or does a move like that have a place in a match too? Thanks

100% this is great to execute in a match - it's very hard for a defender to cleanly take the ball off your stick when it's in the air - so this is a great skill for winning penalty corners :-)

45 secs rest is a bit to long, 25/30 secs max is sufficient.
