I completely agree about Hardman over Metcalf. When they drafted Hardman and I saw Metcalf on the board, I wanted to throw the remote through my TV screen. We have no number 2 receiver now that the often injured Watkins is gone. Metcalf would have made our offense even more incredible. Crazy pick!
100% agree on the Jared Goff's extension. There was no reason to give Jared his extension the off season after the Super Bowl run. Had they let it play out, they probably cut ties after 2019 season and try and make a splashy trade for this win now roster.

@@justinrodgers1485 not sure about Nick Foles but Matt Stafford would have done great in Denver, hopefully Teddy can be good enough to get us back in the Playoffs
Honestly for the Bears, it wasn't Trubisky. It was signing Mike Glennon. Going into the offseason with the 3rd overall pick and no real QB, they had a plan to draft a developmental QB, and decided that Mike Glennon was the guy to help with that. If Trubisky sits 2017 behind a competent QB, maybe he develops like Ryan Pace envisioned.
The Colts have definitely done some bad stuff over the years, drafting Elway, Peyton and Luck for 2 SB appearances and 1 ring, but none of this happened the past five years. The reason why Luck was failed by the organisation is Ryan Grigson and that goes back all the way to 2012. And Grigson is already 5 years gone.
I understand why the chiefs did it, but letting go of Kareem hunt is by far their greatest mistake. A top 10 RB in that offense would make them damn near unbeatable
For the Vikings it’s gotta be that Cousins contract, he hasn’t played super awful but he’s definitely not worth the money they forked over and guaranteed him.

I appreciate you providing the context for the Ravens biggest mistake. There was no way that we couldn't extend Joe Flacco and to the guy's credit he bet on himself and boy did it pay off big. The problem was everyone in the world knew that we had to pay him, along with Flacco's agent, and thus they went for the jugular money wise. What apparently Joe didn't understand was the reason that offense was so successful was the passing weapons around him. Because of Flacco's incredibly stupid deal, we lost both #1 and #2 Receivers, then Dennis Pitta basically injures himself out of the league (terrible luck obviously, but it just added to the problems) and now your three primary targets are gone. You elevate Jacoby Jones, a glorified kick returner and #3 receiver to #1 and it bombs horribly. Every quarterback needs to take a lesson from Tom Brady and realize that if you would like to be successful, rather than trying to get paid every single dollar possible, leave enough on the salary cap that the team can put the money to use getting you weapons or protecting your dumb ass.
The 49ers giving up the farm to move up for a QB ,and changing their minds on which one to take !! Jones was the only pro-ready QB past TL in the first !!!

8:47 Yes. 1000% yes. But the bigger mistake might be letting Bob Quinn be the GM. If the culture was different in the Lions executive office they wouldn't have hired Quinn & maybe Megatron would have stuck around a bit longer. Instead, Megatron left and Quinn didn't add any substantial weapons to mitigate the departure. This is also the same year he could have drafted Tyrek Hill. We all knew Quinn wanted to fire Jim Caldwell and bring in his own HC but he couldn't while the Lions had some success. So he waited for the Lions to go 9-7, said that was not good enough, and brought in Patricia who went 6-10, 3-12-1, & 4-7 before getting fired with Quinn by the owner. So no Quinn, no Patricia.
He was graded as a late first rounder and they had three overall picks. Solid argument to be made they could've picked up a solid high graded player at 4 and still gotten Ferrell.
How the heck is the cardinals hassan when almost everyone remembers rosen, the QB that got moved on from in one year. Quite easy pick for them to say was a mistake but no.
I was ok with the Rashad Penny pick because the Seahawks are terrible at drafting first round o-linemen, but the injuries have been really disappointing. A corner would have probably been a better pick there, but there really weren’t many great corners that year. Some interesting picks that came a little later: Darius Leonard LB, Courtland Sutton WR, and Christian Kirk WR.

@@Charliedont_surf no, but never yknow, supporting him IS a mistake and 100% not a bad take
The real fuck up:
That organization fucking up Luck's career.
Hard facts. Andrew Luck could easily have gone on to do absolutely stellar things and likely would have had a long and storied career if they had just protected the guy
I think most Cowboys fan's really regret drafting Taco Charlton in 2017
Massively, we could have had TJ Watt!
Brandon "the only mistake I've ever made in my life was ordering extra beans on my chipotle burrito" Perna
This dude is blazed. Love the show.
chiefs fan here. spot on with hardman v metcalf. Hardman's had his high points but man. That draft pick is referred to every week at least in KC radio.
Brandon “even Vance Joseph wasn’t as bad as Steve Wilks” Perna
Wasn't Vance Joseph part of Wilks' coaching staff
@@MChuck- Nah he was head coach of the Broncos when Wilks was with the Cardinals
Green Bays biggest mistake was trading back in the 2017 draft and picking KEVIN FUCKING KING at 33 when T.J. Watt was still on the board before they traded!
Watching this video in at the end of the 2022 season makes me smile so much 😂 especially with CMC, Gruden, and saquan
The Niners trading three firsts for Trey Lance.
I completely agree about Hardman over Metcalf. When they drafted Hardman and I saw Metcalf on the board, I wanted to throw the remote through my TV screen. We have no number 2 receiver now that the often injured Watkins is gone. Metcalf would have made our offense even more incredible. Crazy pick!
Really need an hour and half special for the Texans.
I hope we get something out of this era of Texans "football"
Bill O'Brian kind of sums it up though.
@@Warcodered01 naw man we need some behind stories to the craziness of everything
100% agree on the Jared Goff's extension. There was no reason to give Jared his extension the off season after the Super Bowl run. Had they let it play out, they probably cut ties after 2019 season and try and make a splashy trade for this win now roster.
Giants: drafting a QB from Duke in the first round
You nailed the Lions. Never should've let him (and Quinn) in the building. Vrabel was an option?!? smdh. Glad to now have Campbell and Holmes.
I can’t believe I don’t see anyone talking about the Eagles drafting Reagor over Jefferson!!
or JJ over Metcalf
Haha can't say Seattle's interception in superbowl 49, that was 6 years ago 😎💔💔
I’m guessing Seattle’s biggest mistake was Brian bosworth.
@@HubertofLiege or never giving Steve Largent a good enough team around him for a SB run.
People always forget John Fox drafted Trubusky and Nagy was responsible for making him a QB.
He barely played QB before they drafted him too
Funny to watch this now and cmc is now a 49er
You can loon at the Wentz contract and say that was a mistake but the real mistake or mistakes is passing on DK Metcalf in 2019 and Justin Jefferson in 2020
Thanks for the video Brandon!
Imagine Kyle Shanahan and CMC😂😂😂 ur ahead of ur time bro 😂🔥
The 49ers and Run CMC rant is funny looking back on it now.
19:46 this aged so well
Thats pretty funny you talking about the 49ers not taking McCaffery 1 year ago...
As a Broncos Fan drafting Paxton Lynch was awful but I think hiring Vance Joseph instead of Kyle Shanahan was worse
Or Trading for Joe Flacco instead of Nick Foles, or Matt Stafford.
@@justinrodgers1485 not sure about Nick Foles but Matt Stafford would have done great in Denver, hopefully Teddy can be good enough to get us back in the Playoffs
This needs to be revisited.
Dallas: starting dak over tony romo in the playoffs in 2016
Edit: paying zeke was bad. But the other is much worse
7:16 Good thing you said "if"
Honestly for the Bears, it wasn't Trubisky.
THIS THIS THIS
Trubisky could sit behind staubuck, marino, manning, and brady for 50 years, that wont make him any good
The only intro I dont skip over on youtube bc it different everytime and fvcking HILARIOUS!
Jordan Love has got to be the single dumbest move of the last 5 yrs.
Yeah man
Seahawks fan. I agree with all you said, especially about the throwbacks. Those are sweet jerseys.
The Steelers losing our O- line coach is definitely the biggest mistake. I can’t trust our line ever since he left
Luck never made a SB appearance
I understand why the chiefs did it, but letting go of Kareem hunt is by far their greatest mistake. A top 10 RB in that offense would make them damn near unbeatable
No doubt that was one of the top 5 mistakes I'm just glad we're past the Matt Cassel era
Anyone else here (albeit a while after) the Gruden resignation?
5 years in 2 months.. about right for 2021
For the Vikings it’s gotta be that Cousins contract, he hasn’t played super awful but he’s definitely not worth the money they forked over and guaranteed him.
Lol wut? What else would they of done? Teddy? Keeenum? He was their only option and has played pretty damn well the past two years. Him and the offense kept the team afloat last year.
He’s been good since getting here, and he was by far our best option at the position. Kirk is so weirdly hated for no reason
@@johnschull1120 they have so many other problems like o line or defense or kicker instead they blame a good qb who got a playoff win on the road and made a pro bowl
The extension of Kirk Cousins was the biggest mistake.
14:41 THANK YOU from a Vikings fan and I have to add we could've got Winfield Jr with that pick (whose dad was a star viking) but instead he went to Tampa and was spectacular
“Did bleacher report watcher cam Newton play for the Patriots last year?”
As a Seattle fan....I can't argue with it tbh. Ifedi shouldn't have been the only lineman we drafted.
Fun video. Really enjoyed it. Thanks for entertaining me while I'm out on the road away from home working
HEY! Don’t forget! We traded UP to get aguayo
lmao to Josh "nine mistakes ahead of me" Rosen, looks like the only mistake was drafting him.
Chargers biggest mistake was hanging on to Rivers 3 years too long. Moving just sucked for everybody.
I’ve been out of touch with football since this video. I bet the Broncos haven’t made any worse mistakes than Lynch as of 2023
Biggest Bills mistake, starting Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie. I know it happened longer than five years ago but it still hurts
Trading Wyatt Teller?
The colts should be “Not firing Ryan Grigson sooner”… hopefully they chose that. Let’s see
The 49ers giving up the farm to move up for a QB ,and changing their minds on which one to take !! Jones was the only pro-ready QB past TL in the first !!!
49ers were never taking Mac Jones. Those rumors were all smokescreens from the moment they came out
I would love for you to do a update video of this every year I think it could be a cool video

Yes.
Clelin Ferrel isn’t even a bad pick he’s so big and powerful that they double team him often.
He was graded as a late first rounder and they had three overall picks. Solid argument to be made they could've picked up a solid high graded player at 4 and still gotten Ferrell.
Not a bad player, but bad use of the 4th overall pick. Probably couldn't get a first-round pick if they wanted to trade him now.
Carolina hiring Matt Rhule is their biggest mistake.
Brandon “My biggest mistake was using my Dyck to stir my coffee “ perna
Bills dumbest move was trading Wyatt Teller to the browns, but at least they got bass with the 6th round pick that came back to them
How the heck is the cardinals hassan when almost everyone remembers rosen, the QB that got moved on from in one year.
Patricia having a pencil in his ear literally every damn day should of been a red flag enough to not hire that fruit loop
😂 especially since no one uses pencils anymore.

I like the Saquan comparison...so far it kinda makes sense...but remember,Bush had a decent year in 09' helping the Saints to a Super Bowl...I think Barkley is gonna play well this year.
