- Join me for a little Friday Night Magic as I unbox a Modern Horizons 2 bundle box for Magic the Gathering and open 9 :'( draft booster packs with you as I whisper, read from them, and ramble. I'm not a Magic expert, but I do play casually, and I love MTG! You'll also find some crinkling, tapping, tracing, and gentle hand movements.
If you want to skip to my realization that I have a mispacked box, start at 18:56 . Don't worry, I've already requested a replacement pack. WoTC has a surprisingly thorough system for product replacements!
This is an ASMR video intended to help you relax and/or fall asleep. I'm not trying to teach you how to play Magic, nor am I particularly trying to review these items.

This is the sound of pure bliss! Booster pack openings are literally my favorite type of ASMR haha. The card sounds and the crinkles of the packs-oh man I freaking love it! Thanks again for the wonderful video! Maybe one day I’ll get my wife to play magic with me. Life goals hah!

as you may know by now, the 'etched' versions of cards sport a water color-esque frame. the artists were to submit a pre-final stage of the art (they vary in degree). they included the art direction given to the artist for said art rather than the flavor text you'll find on normal versions of the same card. the set is full of cool throw backs in art, lore and design

Lots of folks excited by the fetch lands and Esper Sentinel, so even a pack short some great pulls! Also recommend the pre-release box at half the price, pulled the highest valued non-foil (Monkeyman!) from that!

The card with Road and Ruin is "Road (to) Ruin" and you can only play Ruin after you've played Road. There are other cards, such as "Fire (and) Ice" where it's one or the other. I think there's one other kind, but I can't recall it off the top of my head.
Will you do a video on the soulblight gravelords battletome? I would love to see that :D
We don’t have that one, but I do have: Skaven, Orruk Warclans, Gloomspite Gitz, Blades of Khorne, Sylvaneth, Idoneth Deepkin, Kharadron Overlords, Stormcast Eternals, and also Broken Realms Teclis. Would any of those be of interest? 😊

The quality control on this product was absolute garbage. From misprints to botched foils to missing packs. My faith in WotC, and the real problem Hasboro, is completely shot. May never buy another product from them again. If they're going to charge this much they have a duty to the customer.
