I'm so glad these are getting their credit as a sleeper/great driving car. It seem liked when they came out most ignored them because of the the looks. In my opinion....might be the most "bmw" thing bmw has made in a while. Short of the M2. And I think the 128i might be the last naturally aspirated inline 6 BMW ever made. Fitting since it's about the size the 3 series used to be.
Totally agree. I've owned many e46's because I enjoyed driving them so much. But I just recently bought a 128i 6spd and it's easily the best driving BMW I've ever owned. I thought I might end up wanting for the power in the 135i, but I have been completely satisfied with it.
@@Sendies see that's kind of where my head's at I do want a 1:35 but I've been looking at trying to find a 128 with sport package. That doesn't have wood grain interior and isn't a convertible lol I saw somebody post videos of their on RUclips and it was really nice
@@TCrimson05t It's a great car. Engine and transmission are buttery for daily driving, so much usable torque at pretty much any time. It's not the fastest in a straight line, but it's got the perfect amount of power for twisty roads, or a track with a lot of turns.
Honestly, the M2 is WAY overrated. Only because of one, but crucial factor that can't be modded-out. The numb, electric steering. I'm a BMW guy, but, BMW were known for their steering feel, up through the E90 gen, then BMW jumped the shark and took away one of the Brand's best attributes.
I had to choose between a manual and a DCT. OMG. the DCT is unbelievable. If you want manual, use the paddles in manual mode. No human can shift that quickly and the DCT means your turbo stays spooled between shifts so no turbo lag. Honestly, it feels like a Tesla Plaid the way it accelerates linearly. A race between the two is not even a fair contest.
I’m about to put my hands on a 6 speed 135i 09 for 15 k 40k miles m4 rims and chargepipe no other mods that I know also same changes like yours the guy changed inyectors for new ones and 2 owners is that a good price ?
HAHAHA! We tease him all the time about that. What's even more funny is he's actually 10 years younger than Ryan Reynolds. LOL AND about a foot shorter. LOL
After 2 weeks of owning mine best car I’ve owned and I’m a car guys and have owned a lot of cars in fact my other car is a what you call a g8 or ssv commodore ls2 6sp doing 23:1 litres of fuel per 100 km I’m getting 2:7 per 100 km out the bmw with very little lot in power in fact the bmw takes off 10 time quicker than the ls2 and it’s signal turbocharged as well putting out 310 rwkws
I have a 135 6 cylinder tuned. It fucks off. If Moses wasn’t such an ugly name. Mine would be called that. Nothing keeps up. You should come ride in South Africa. They don’t even attempt to stop you.
I have just bought one in the UK (having looked for one for ages). 2010 model, manual, 40k miles on the clock. It couldn’t be any more fun.
I'm trying to find one now in the uk but there at a crazy price and some are at a crazy mileage
I have an 08 135i favorite car I’ve ever owned.
I have a 13 F10 N55 135i cabrio. It never ceases to amaze me how much I look forward to driving it.
an f10 is a 5 series bud
Had a 135i MSport Cabrio. Silver w/blk leather. Loved that little rocket ship, but Lord it got expensive to maintain😢.
Great film, edit, and cinematic work! Keep it up
You should look into getting Inlets Outlets ... you'll love the gains in power and newfound turbo spooling noises ...I have them on my 135i
The Don15 when can I get my hands on this

Think it’s fast now. Get a stage 2 fuel (walbro 450), ethanol sensor, and mhd stage 2+ e85 maps then report back.
hated the looks when it first came out but it looks so good now lol
