    Can the Garmin Zumo be plugged into the stock USB outlet on the 390 Adventure? Thanks👍

    Nice setup, would be nice if you gave a bit more detail about the install.

      2 bolts for mount and power from 12v supplying cigarette socket.

    quick quick on powering .. You used 12 volt accessory. But, do not understand how you wired it. Should be only one -/+ wire coming out. This looks like a fantastic install.

    • @SeanFillner

      The owners manual shows where the plug is at. Was it unclear in the video? I tried to show it the best I could. You need a couple of crimp on spade connectors if that is what you are asking.

    • @motoman707
      @motoman707 Год назад

      @@SeanFillner so there are 2 +/- connector in the bike or did you run 2 +/- out of the 12 v accessory. From the video it looks like you might have. Just trying to figure out how you connected 2 with what I assume is just one +/- coming to the 12 v.

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner  Год назад

      @Motoman not sure what you are asking. Acc1 is constant power and acc2 is key on power.

      @@SeanFillner Sorry if I am unclear. There is an empty unused +/- wire up front?

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner  Год назад

      Yeah. In the owners manual it is talked about. check it out. I showed you where it is in the video. I am not sure where the confusion is? These bikes are super simple.

    So you didn't use the auxiliary power pigtails behind the head lamp? If you did, which pwr pigtail did you pick (constant-on or switched)?

    • @SeanFillner
      @SeanFillner  2 года назад +2

      In the video you can see I tied power into the oem lighter plug. I even mentioned it when I swapped it out with a USB charger/volt meter.
      You may want to view the playlist for this build series if you want to know the locations of the acc 1 and acc 2 plugs on this bike. I covered all of them.

      Are you aware you can set the video watch speed on youtube? You can take the time lapse and slow it down to normal speed. Try it and see if you can watch me connect two wires and bolt on a mount. It really is that simple....
