Gorgeous bike. Not sure why people ride around with a passenger backrest on while they’re riding solo, but I’m a little dense sometimes. That blue is incredible. Beautiful bike. Wow. Ride safe.
You can thank uncle sam as to why Harley's are quiet now from the factory. And several states as well. I suspect at some point down the road, we won't be allowed to right that wrong after purchase, either.
Hey Dave, did you ever change the oil pump on this bike? I was reading that the 2017-2019 models have that sumping problem that was fixed with the 2020 pump. Thanks!
Slippschitts Hey just for your information, I was hit from behind on my bike while waiting at a red light. I’ve been in a wheelchair, paralyzed for 39 years. There’s a huge difference between breaking ones leg and being killed and I’m living it. A lot of people say well they’d be killed etc. no like I said I’m living it.
You are doing it up right brother, they don't come out with that true sound because Harley wants you to come back and spend thousands of dollars to get that sound, ride safe live free keep the knees in the breeze ✌️ N❤️brother
Did you already have a stage one installed? I have a 19 street glide special that already has the stage one in it from Harley… Now I’m wanting to put the S&S 475 Kim in it… But I wanna ensure myself that spending that money on the cam will actually give me some more performance Gaines over what I have.
I used the Fp3 that I already installed previously. I just called v&h and they sent me a new map for the cam. It was rich in the lower rpms but they fixed it over the phone in just a few minutes. I didn't dyno the bike and don't plan to. She runs amazing just like she is and I'm very happy.
Thank you... I'm enjoying the extra power and torque this cam gave me. I kept the stock oil pump and cam plate. If I ever go to a big bore kit, I will likely change those during that install.
Looks and sounds amazing my friend. Fantastic choice of bike, have the exact same but in Bonneville salt denim. Are the Tab exhaust s just slip-ons, no headers?
Harley Dave awesome! Thanks for the info. Yeah, it looks like it would do a decent job, and plus that vent cutout looks like it would help with a little ventilation if you so choose.

Hey Dave! Thanks for all the great videos. Sounds fantastic!! You still own your Special? I have the same exact bike with a ton o'mods. I LOVE this bike. Best effort by Harley to date...they knocked it outta da park with the Special! Previously rode a bought new 2015 Road King and there's NO comparison. Everything's better with the new Special!! Reason for my comment: My last thing to do is upgrading the cam this winter. Leaning towards the Red Shift 468. You know anything about difference between your 475c & the 468?? D. front & Kuryakin LED rear turns, CIRO filler lights, Custom Dynamnics saddlebag blade lights, antennea lights & other assorted mini-mods!
Thanks for the comment and your bike sounds like it's very nice! The 468 cam is designed for low end torque 1500~2500 rpm and the 475 is mid/high end 2500~4500 rpm. You need to get the cam for the riding style you prefer. Hope that helps.

Love that sound. Did you do the cam install yourself? If not what was labor like on it? Thanks
Yes, I installed it myself. Thanks for watching!
Did you get rid of this bike? With the S&S cam, what header pipe and muffler did you run?
How did you manage to get that beautiful uneven idle sound? Is it the exhaust or the cam? Or did you change sth with the rpms?
That's the cam doing it's magic.
Just one more question: do you think that this cam will go hand in hand with FP3 ? Or do i need to buy Dyno Jet Power Vision? TIA
It's perfect ...Sounds like a REAL HARLEY!! May I ask what kind of mufflers?
Nice bike and nice upgrades 👌🏽
Wowww i love it, congratulations
Why did u trade that in
What a beautiful bike damn Lucy sexy ! Oh shit the color looks black didn’t know it was blue.

Hi.. I’ve just purchased s&s 475 cams for my 2019 FLHXS.

I think you'll love that cam. On my bike, it kicks in around 2400 rpm and then again harder around 3500.
Gerry Arseneau
I used a Power Vision Tuner with my 475g. Which tuner did you end up with?
Digging the lope. Had S&S 583 in my 103 slim and great performance and sound. Did you do anything with the oil pump or cam plate or keep stock?
Thank you... I'm enjoying the extra power and torque this cam gave me. I kept the stock oil pump and cam plate. If I ever go to a big bore kit, I will likely change those during that install.
OMG what’s a beautiful road king and the exhaust sounds 🔥🔥🔥🔥 what kind of exhaust system you have?
She is beautiful....
Magnificent!!
Off the wall question. what type of water bottle? I like it being out of the way. Just ordered a 475C cam :-)
It is just a cheap Amazon bottle holder. Search for water bottle clamp and you'll find a ton of them. Thanks for watching and good call on the cam!

I have that same question. :)

Did the S&S cam void the 2 year warranty?
When re-installing the headers, did you use new crush gaskets ?
Yep. I always change them regardless when putting on headpipes.
Hey. Dave , What’s your Hp & Torque numbers after cam install ?
bob clapper you actually thing he put the thing on a dyno?
Gorgeous bike.... what is the diff in stock lighting and the pro beam you did?
Pro beams are led so a ton brighter. Also, the front turn signals are white until you turn on the signals.
I have a 2020 rks, did you upgrade just the bulb in the headlight or the whole unit? Which led turn signal kit did you use? Thanks
The head light is from Eaglelights and the turn signals are Kuryakn pro beams.
What's the bike sound like with EITMS on now that you have a cam installed?
I don't use that feature. Thanks for watching!
