Jërëjëf Sindaco! I really enjoy your videos. It is really nice to see you educating everyone about these dishes and how and where they are prepared and eaten. Jolof is a Wolof word, and this manner of rice preparation was created by the Wolof people who live primarily in the Senegambia region of West Africa, as well as in Mauritania and Guinea. Unlike in Ghana, Nigeria, and other parts of West Africa where many varieties of yams are and grown and widely eaten, the Wolof people grow and consume rice as the main staple in their diet. The national dish of Senegal is thieboudienne (rice and fish) which embodies the manner of rice preparation widely known as jolof. Once you try thieboudienne, or thiebouyap (rice and lamb), or thiebouguinar (rice and chicken) you can never return to what others simply call jolof. It is par excellence!

Not too much dish washing in senegal. I think most of our african ways are green and good forcthe planets no matter what people say sbout us. If everyone used their hands to ear, how much platic will be saved and iron for metal spoons. Everyonecare from one plate, rhere will be darcmore less need for a lot of cutlery
I'm deleting you because you don't want to make a video with the original Elders with the grey hair Hollywood TV RUclips 😡😡😡🔥🔥🔥. The original 👑 Black King Z 👑🐟🌊🎣
