That is so true about finding things to enjoy in the diet. I have taken that route and I find I look forward to the foods I can eat on BBD. That keeps me from getting bored and wanting to quit. It's great that you guys are doing this together. My husband and I eat almost completely different foods than one another now. Oh also, if you like the Ninja brand, definitely check out the Ninja Foodi. I've made a number of BBD dishes in it, and it's super easy and fast and makes great food.

Doesn’t coffee flare you up? I’m trying to cut that out just now for my endo symptoms as I heard it was a bad one and I usually can’t live without coffee each day 😢❤

Coffee itself is actually anti inflammatory and has a lot of good benefits! The over consumption of caffeine is what can trigger inflammation! Or what you are putting in your coffee ie. Sugar, creamer, etc.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I have both a vitamix and ninja blender and the ninja is better!! Also cheaper!

No such thing as an anti-inflammatory diet.

Your smoothie is not so good. Goji berries have LECTINS. Almond Butter is full of Oxalates and a seed oil. Blender bombs are not so great either for multiple reasons. Are you eating...or repping name brands? Feels like the latter. Moving on, you add tons of terrible fructose from the fruit. Kale is an antinutrient that blocks absorption of minerals. Spinach is an oxalate bomb. Bottom line, that smoothie is terrible for your health. Ironically, you think it is good. Oh no, you are not done. Honey- just NO. Full of toxins including weed killer, grayanotoxins, tutin and pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
Who is this guy you are wondering? He is someone who has studied nutrition and physiology for over a decade- down to the cellular level. I also studied at an Ivy so I am not exactly a dummy. I am only sharing to try to help you- not to be critical. We all need to learn.
I suggest you read and learn. Some great books include Young Forever- Dr. Hyman. Food, What the heck should I Eat- Hyman and Plant Paradox- Dr. Gundry. Also, watch this very important video: ruclips.net/video/qaW1n0HAi2w/видео.html Remember, sugar leads to MORE, not less inflammation. That smoothie is a very high- I repeat, a very high inflammatory drink. You are sold on it by marketers. It looks and feels clean and healthy. In reality, it is not so great. One drink that is really great is called...fresh, clean WATER.
A HUGE tip I can give you is to monitor your own blood sugar several times a week. Use it to adjust your diet. The kits are cheap and really helpful. Many fitness people have continuous monitors on them and they are not diabetic- that is the whole idea. Having your blood sugar well controlled is key to great metabolic health. It is a sin that most doctors will never tell you this.

My doctor and dietician prescribed me something that raised my blood pressure, caused muscle breakdown and soreness, dehydrated me, slowed my digestion, increased inflammation in my body, made my heart pound, depleted my ATP, raised lactic acid in my body, made me sweat all over, feel kind of sick but then get really hungry later and even disrupted my sleep cycle yet told me it would be good for me and make me likely live longer... Crazy world we live in being recommended things that are harmful to us, I don't understand how people can live so long putting their body through that harm.
