Thank you for appreciating Vincent! 1.) I used matt board for all of the parts, but in my opinion, illustration boards may be a quite good substitute. 2.) Acetate for the windows. 3.) Glue for putting the smaller parts together. 4.) Hot glue/Glue gun for the major parts. 5.) And finally I used acrylic paint for the color of the structure.
Absolutely magnificent!!! Hats off to you!!! Can I ask what type of illustration board you used? Is it a certain type of wood used to build 3D models??? I have my little one's school project on the Royal family and part of the project is creating a 3D model of Buckingham Palace. I would love to try an attempt to replicate the model you have made for his project. Any advice/recommendations would greatly be appreciated. Many thanks and keep up the good work.
Thank you for helping me find your channel! That model is absolutety beautiful, so accurate work! I'm speechless... As an improvement idea for your future projects, videos would be a bit shorter an more compact. In my opinion this was a little bit too long :)
This model is outstanding!!!!! So accurate and the attention to detail is amazing. Have you though of building the other sides, and turning it into a full 3D model? That would really be something, and maybe a museum would be interested in displaying it. I just subbed to your channel. Look forward to seeing more of your models. You can download 3D plans here. www.3dcadbrowser.com/3d-model/palace-buckingham
Thank you for appreciating Michael! These 3d plans would indeed be a big help since I've only made the front view plans of the model through looking at pictures from google hahaha! Thanks again for sending me this. And btw I'm almost done making a new model, I'll be uploading soon!
