Jennifer, your videos are my absolute favourite. No wasted time looking for supplies, no extraneous comments, just valuable information and demonstrations. And thank you for the suggestion to give cards to those who have to keep working with the public at this time. That's brilliant.
Thanks Jennifer, I 've watched you give, and support to many causes and share your kindness for many years, now, I am on the front line, I am a CT Technologist at the University Hospital in Oregon and we are working against the clock to repurpose available space to receive the major influx of patients that is expected to fill our hospital within the next few weeks. We are working on ways to triage, workflow, and accessing by severity. Sadly one of our biggest and uncontrollable fears is not being able to care for our patients but not having or getting the equipment to protect ourselves from getting infected due to the shortage of protective equipment. It seems surreal. I am enjoying my craft videos to keep my mind off the media. I appreciate you so much!
I have made and sent out 95 cards to hospitals, Drs offices, to nurses,to members of our church, family and friends. Also made a lot and took to our local nursing home. I am making another bunch to mail out next week
Thanks so much. I am a pediatrician in NY and am making cards for sick co workers. Can't mass produce yet but they are appreciated. When people ask me where I learned that I always tell them I learned from you!
Love that you've though to do a longer video for those home bound. I'm here in Australia and it seems that we've been isolated for so long. what with fires, ail storms and flooding. This virus has layed us low again. Todays my day off and your video has given me so many ideas. As our business is located in a medical precinct, I've been giving thinking of you or thank you cards to my clients. Also little treats as a sugary pick me ups. Its important to be kind in times of anxiety and worry. Cheers Lisa
My pastor, who knows of my cards, asked for homemade cards. She wanted them for members to write a note to senior living centers because they can have no visitors. I was happy to do it and am continuing to make some more!
Your videos are my sanctuary during these times! I’m a pediatric nurse and am spending my afternoon making cards for coworkers, especially housekeeping and nurse assistants.
What beautiful cards, such a delightful tutorial to watch whilst spending time housebound because of the coved virus which is spreading around the world . God bless you and keep safe from a 74 year old card maker in England UK. Xxx
Thank You Jennifer! The cards are superb but the thoughts bihind it is awsome. I have a cardmaking class in a minute and I am going to do the same, not the same cards but for the same reason inspired by you. Instead of just one card they can make as many as they can for our healthcare people. You are such an inspiration and truly GOOD person. I hope and pray that this virus skips you and your loved ones. Loving wishes.
Thanks to Gina K and you I loved the idea of sending encouragement cards to all of my friends just to say love you! I have sent 28 cards so far but intend to send more over the next few days. It’s so important to take the time to bless others today and everyday. Sharing Handmade Kindness!
Thank you for the tip to cut the Altenew card size pictures from their instruction flyer, and use them as a positioning tool with the Misti. This is such a helpful tip !!!
Hi Jennifer, I wish I had known about this challenge however I have not long discovered you and find your tutorials fabulous and the cards are gorgeous. I started cardmaking to satisfy the creative me but mainly to be able to send cards to people as we all email and text which is practical but impersonal. My aim is to send a card and a small letter each week to a different person all year. I love doing this and get some lovely feedback. So I guess we are on the same page. Thanks so much for your encouragement, kindness and your sharing.
Thanks for the great tip about stamping first with white pigment ink, then layering another color on top before it sets. What a beautiful, soft look, and a fantastic way to stamp on darker cardstock! Love that you are giving us a video to help with our "self-quarantine", but I have to admit that I've already been doing that in my rubber room on a regular basis for years! My husband doesn't think much has changed.
I just love that navy card stock and that is a great idea using damaged and remaining card stock instead of double foam tape, that tape is expensive in my country. Love the second card and the colour. Wow..The third card looked embossed on screen, I got fooled. Love them all. And so true crafting makes you forget the negatives going on in the world. Stay safe.
Thanks so much Jennifer for this video... the cards are beautiful just like your heart. Busy making extra cards to send... not only to older citizens (like myself) but also those young moms who now have the kiddos at home working at keeping them busy and safe. Blessings!
Wow! Gorgeous creative techniques to make these beautiful cards! The one that looks like you stitched, but it's not. Amazing! And same for all others, really neat techniques. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Because I know that you do stitching on your cards, I thought the spiral card was stitched. That card brought back memories of my childhood. All of your cards are beautiful and the techniques were amazing.
I am obsessed with that spiral stamp set! Can't wait till it gets to the UK after the madness. Not home bound yet, but if it happens, we have plenty of inspiration thanks to you Jennifer!
Thank you Jennifer, your cards are beautiful and you always show us new ways to use and stretch our supplies. Stay safe, healthy and keep educating us on card making and using our already bought supplies.
Thanks Jennifer for the words of encouragement; and taking the time out of your day to think of others and prepare more and longer videos/ We so appreciate it.
What a great idea to give thank you notes/cards to those working so hard in the middle of this crisis! I hadn't even thought about the grocery store workers! Bless you for sharing your love for mankind.
Jennifer, you have such great ideas!. Thanks for sharing. Also, thanks for the idea of sending to home care and health facilities. I am truly inspired.
Thank you for explaining & showing how to do these lovely cards!!! You began my desire to give cards for encouragement & these times are the perfect time for me to get busy mass producing assorted cards to send happy mail!! Thank you! No more intimidation, no more procrastination, no more fear that it won’t look good enough! I’m going to use the supplies I have!! 🥰💝🤗🌈
Danke! Thanks! Like always a fantastic Video. Dear Jennifer, you make many of us happy in this hard time. An older cardmaker from Vienna/Austria. Stay safe and healthy, kiss and hugs
The spiral card actually looked like String Art. I honestly thought you had sewn in different colors of string until you started explaining what you did. When you did the offset example the image looked 3-d instead of flat. So cool!
What a lovely video. Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. It is amazing how connected we become with videos as a friend once stated 'I am visiting with friends I have never met'
Hi Jennifer! Thank you. We in Australia are not in full lock down, but we can’t go into aged care facilities, because they are in quarantine! So my suggestion is drop them to aged care facilities, because they will be lonely and afraid. Great time to use encouragement stamps! Also our teachers are on the front line (government refuses to shut schools, as it will mean 6 month closure! ) so looking after our teachers, first responders and medical personnel are what I will do!
I love these cards. Going to try this technique with some stamps I have. Thank you for your video. Being 70 I'm staying in unless I just have to go somewhere. Your videos are a blessing at this time. Will be rewatching some and look forward to new ones. I really appreciate you and your inspiration.
I really enjoyed this long video. Your cards are stunning! This technique is an oldie but goodie and I’m so glad that you have revived it and made the whole process so much easier than I remember in days past. I also love all the additional details that make your cards exceptional. Thanks so much and I hope that you and your family stay safe and healthy as well.
thanks Jennifer! I love the idea of card making to spread encouragement, and also coloring with my copics each day. I'm starting to send cards today (I have a million cards in my stash)! Let the card making begin! Everyone hang in there and stay healthy!
Thank you for your enthusiasm and kindness. As usual, your cards showcase loads of ideas and ways to use what I already have. (I also find the wonderful new things available!) Stay safe and healthy...
Thank you for being you! You're such a kind person and always thinking of others - this video was much needed - I have 2 young kids and am very vulnerable due to needing iv treatment daily and have been almost paralyzed by fear some days - this made me smile. Cards are beautiful too. Take care Jennifer and family xx
Thank you Jennifer. You are always an inspiration. All of these cards are gorgeous. I agree that card makers can make a difference during these challenging times. Blessings to you and your family.
Wonderful cards. Thank you so much. Excuse me for using your channel but I do want to remind everyone to open a window, go in your yard or balcony, call friends and family, video chat, arrange virtual game nights with loved ones, share uplifting stories and craft away. Be well and be blessed.😃
Thank you so much for putting out all of your videos and especially longer ones right now. It takes our minds off of everything going on right now and gives us joy in doing what we cardmakers love. Keep them coming! No need to edit the videos either. 😊
Thank you Jennifer you are a very special young lady and talented too!!! I'm making cards as I watch you and sending cards out too. I love making cards :)
Thank you, Jennifer! I love watching your videos, no matter how long they are. Your videos have kept me company these past few days as my craft room is now my office for work. I enjoy every moment that I can spend in here, even if I’m not crafting. Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you Jennifer! What a great project....no presure, try new things, and tell folks you care and thank you to those who are carrying on. I'm not sure how to do instagram, I think I responded over there but now I have a reason to figure it out. One favor: I am pretty sure I have heard you say you don't like to be in front of the camera but for those of us who are socially isolating at home alone can you maybe briefly say hello? Maybe show us your family card making session.
Thank you Jennifer for helping us keep our card making going while we are all going through this world wide dilemma......great looking cards and technique..take care and be safe.
Jennifer. I don’t know how you can make so many cards. It takes me 3-5 hours to create just one. Love your videos. They are most inspiring. I also, if you have the opportunity, would you share with your friend Kristina we love and miss her and wish her well.
Jennifer McGuire Ink thank you for letting us know about Kristina. And omg. Making the cards, editing, and voice over. You are still superwoman even with the five days. You do it.
Thank you Jennifer! It’s hard for those of us who are home bound all the time and you really make a difference. I’m so surprised to see that YOU mess up 💋
Thank you🥰 I appreciate your selflessness taking the time and and energy to share with us. Could listen to you all day, you voice is very calming. Prayers for all to be healthy and safe. Together we will get through this
What a great idea! I have alot of thinking of you and blank cards that I am going to send to our hospital and Dr offices! They really do make a difference, now more than ever!
Thank you so much for this encouraging and inspiring video with lots of beautiful cards❤️ I wish you and your family to stay healthy and safe as well. Please take care. God bless you all.
As always, you're a God send and an inspiration!!! Thank you kind soul!!! So grateful you shared all of these magnificent cards and I pray you all stay safe & healthy as well!!!
Thank you Jennifer! I saved this video to watch tonight as an "escape" from the continual bad news. The cards are beautiful and I am so glad to learn a way for ink to show up on dark cardstock, because I love saturated color.
Love the cards! Thank you for taking the time to entertain us and get our minds off what's going on in the world! I love watching your videos! I hope you and your family stay heathy as well!
Wow I love how beautiful the dark color pops with the white, silver, and gold. The pigment ink makes a huge difference. I was able to finally remember/find an antistatic bag/tool and will give this a try. Thanks! By the way I’m loving the Background Check class plus all the RUclips videos you and the rest of the instructors have, thanks again.
Beautiful. Everyone be safe. What a great way to spend time while home. We spent the day cleaning and organizing. I’m hoping to start creating cards tomorrow.

You are an incredibly brilliant creative woman. Thank you for all your work and teaching that you share with us.
The blue hello card reminds me of a spirograph that I used to use as a kid. I love it!

I just feel like it isn't as eco-friendly, costs more... and i have mess-up scraps i can use in place of it. :)
Absolutely beautiful. I love having a dark background, but I definitely needed some help. You have just made this much clearer to me. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you Jennifer! I saved this video to watch tonight as an "escape" from the continual bad news. The cards are beautiful and I am so glad to learn a way for ink to show up on dark cardstock, because I love saturated color.
Jennifer, these are gorgeous cards on the dark cardstock and I love your idea to thank the caregivers, I will definitely join in.
