Thanks for watching folks! Create a basic chalk effect at 1:30, create the chalk shadow effect 10:00 😎If you try this give us a comment, how did it work out?
Really liked what you did here. Seems a lot of people are asking for the font + the effect. I for one would have purchased this combo if it were for sale.
Thank you, glad you liked the video! I'll give this some thought and see if we can provide a place to download this kind of content for a nominal fee or for free 👍
Hi Manny. Its hand made, not from a font. If you're looking for really awesome hand lettering tuts then Teela Cunningham is well worth a look at ruclips.net/user/EveryTuesday
I've watched loads of videos but this one is the very first that shows so much information! Thanks a lot for it! I just wonder if this approach is applicable for commercial use, i.e. as far as I understand the illustration made by Adobe's default brushes and stuff is now allowed for sell, or am I wrong? :)
Thanks, Yana! Really pleased you found the video helpful. With regards to assets such as brushes, library items and Adobe fonts, it is generally the case that anything that ships with your Adobe apps can be used for commercial and non-commercial use. See here for reference www.adobe.com/products/type/font-licensing/licensing-faq.html and also here too (hope these help) also see section 3.6 here www.adobe.com/legal/terms.html
How do I get the color to be visible like the blue accent marks you have at the beginning of the video? I've followed the directions but it just looks grey. Thanks!
Hi Emily, sorry for the slow response. If you change the fill ad stroke colours to C85 M50 Y0 K0 this will match the blue in the video. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

@@shaped-by-design Thank you!
Could you perhaps explain how you did the typography design with the glyphs and swathes and decorations
Hi Sarah, thanks for watching. I'll look at planing a video on custom type in Illustrator, from pencil sketch to vector art. 👍
@@shaped-by-design thank you I will be waiting. I have so many questions regarding typography design. So I will keep watching 👍🏾
@@shaped-by-design also is it possible to do a full text design like the one your showed without a hand sketch ?
