Operation Protego, led by the Australian Tax Office, has been in operation since 2022, dedicated to pursuing a significant GST fraud scheme that spanned across Australia. The fraudulent activity originated on social media platforms such as TikTok and Facebook, then expanded to include facilitators who offered assistance to individuals seeking to create fictitious businesses for the purpose of claiming unauthorized GST refunds.
The perpetrators engaged in the creation of counterfeit businesses, acquiring Australian Business Numbers for these entities. These numbers were then exploited to submit fabricated business activities, with the aim of fraudulently claiming GST refunds to which they were not entitled.
Interestingly, this fraudulent network also involved members of motorcycle gangs, particularly the Hells Angels. Law enforcement authorities have successfully pressed charges against two members of the Hells Angels bikie gang, along with an associate member, all based in Sydney. These individuals were charged with a series of Commonwealth criminal offenses related to the scam. The financial impact of this scheme on Australian taxpayers is staggering, amounting to a colossal $1.6 billion.
Among the charged individuals are Mustafa Hafizi a senior bikie from the Hells Angels Parramatta chapter, Aaron Wynn 38, Treasurer of the Chinatown chapter of the Hells Angels, and Willis "The Hitman" Meehan 27, a professional boxer and former rugby league player.

He got kicked out not long after that because he was setting up his drug dealer customers, he would bring what they wanted but then all of a sudden give them alot more on credit that they didn't ask for then all of a sudden they would get robbed and owe money for the drugs on credit. Pres got out and kicked him from club as he was patched in while he was away by acting pres, he then went and joined hells angels. No idea what happen to him after that
