So does that thing work on a CPU? Jk... Couldn't help myself after reading some silly comments. Thanks for the detailed review. I'm about to intall it on an i9 9900k in my old 2011 NZXT behemoth of a case with 4-120mm fans on the side panel; 8 fans total. Unfortunately the illuminated effects are unnecessary as it's an older non-glass case; I was given the new ma410m. After watching your review I'm quite confident now that it'll cool my i9-9900k not OC'd... Great review and nice job with the thermal images!!
@OverclockersClub .Hi I have just built a new system on XMAS eve 2019, in about 14 years this sort of fan is new to me. I have one on a i9 9900KF on an ASUS ROG STRIX Z390F with 2x 8Gb TFORCE XTREEM ARGB ram which fit fine but this cooler blocks the last ram slot for this sort of taller kind of memory. So if I want to use the another 2x 8Gb ram, in the remaining 2 slots, I can't with out changing the cooler. I ordered my parts online, so had no idea this was the case. ARGB is new to me and I have connected the controller as per instructions which I found not too clear regarding the controller mode or mother board control mode, but I can't get any leds to work and tried a few things. Can you please do a detailed video on how to connect ARGB and plugs for this cooler and also just a general overview of ARGB voltages etc. Many Thanks and great video.
Does Thermal sensor show temperature if connected to T-sensor of mother board (without controller)? I have ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING with T-sensor (2-pin) and I can't find any information if thermal connector will work with t-sensor from ASUS mobo.
When I get to where you are at the 8:00 mark the thing has a ton of play. Moves around in all directions. I tried to tighten and shattered the cheap plastic backplate. Any advice? I have been blowing up cooler master phone, submitted tickets, they don't respond
Both fans are pulling air in and anyone that has installed fans knows this by the facing of the blade cap. That blade cap indicates where the air is being pulled from and the mounting armature on the other side is pushing.
That is the next review we will have up shortly, so stay tuned. Typically an AIO will perform better than an air cooler when compared on the same system, apples to apples - but there are exceptions.
I have a problem with this cooler, last one of the fans stopped spinning, it gives of LED light, and I looks like it wants to spin but it just won't turn. I've tried, the fan on the other side is working perfect. If anyone can think of a solution, please let me know
hello would this cooler work with z390 aorus master, aorus rtx 2080 super, i9 9900k, corsair obsidian 500d rgb se ? if not what cpu cooler would you suggest? i would prefer an aircooler thanks !
@@overclockersclub How can this make things work. Do we need the mini usb connected to motherboard to make it work? Been trying to solve for more than a week but I can only make it work by using the controller.
@@overclockersclub I am using B450 AORUS PRO and the 12VGRBW header is used by the ARGB front fans. Does it make my ma410m no room for ARGB headers anymore?
That CPU is a beast! The MA410M would work, but if you want to stick with air cooling - check out the MASTERAIR MA620M. It might be a better choice for a powerful CPU like the 3900X. I reviewed it here: ruclips.net/video/v-1v6XdSksQ/видео.html Cooler Master also has several liquid coolers that would work well with that CPU.
@@overclockersclub I currently have the Ryzen 9 3900x with its wraith cooler and occasionally the fan would go up to high speed. Will getting this air cooler be the best solution for it?
Shane Chen that’s what I’m wondering as well. The stock amd wraith prism is too big for 4 on my mother board. Then again it also depends on how tall your ram is...
Sure - I mean I don't know your system specs and the intended use, but it should be fine as a daily driver with no overclocking as you mention. Keep in mind that a case with good air flow can really make a difference.
@@overclockersclub I also use it with my 9900k (Not Oced, just the stock turbo boost ) 65ish C° on cinenebech , 68-75 C° with AAA games and 55ish on League of legends. (Case is Be Quiet Dark base 700)
Usually you don't have to remove the motherboard, but it really depends on what case you are using. Most cases have an opening in the motherboard tray to allow installation of a CPU cooler.
@@sossoya86 There should be a large open area in that plate so that you can access the mounting bracket (on the back of the motherboard) for the CPU cooler. Most cases have that open section in the motherboard tray so that you don't have to remove the motherboard. Cases from years ago usually did not have that feature, so you had to remove the motherboard if you wanted to change the CPU cooler.
ronn Cast not sure if it helps, I have an Aorus z390 Ultra, with some Corsair Vengeance Pros and 4 sticks of ram are in no problem with this CPU cooler.
Thank you for your really detailed and accurate review!
I was on doubt with few specs of the cooler and you solve them, thank you again!
You are quite welcome!
Top ''overclockers'' club. Not even temps chart compared to other air coolers.
Love the content-- extremely user pleasant and whole lots to see!
Ay that is a cool features indeed that you can see the temperature based on the colors, I'm definitely gonna use that

Nice review Chris . Which one you think is the best performer: MA410M or Hyper 212 Black Edition ?
Just watched another great review on this cooler but I enjoyed yours more as I do not speak Thai :P
old video but very informative. thanks mate
are you able to fit all 4 RAM slots with this cooler in place?
Yes!
Not if this ram 🐏 is high profile ram like the evo x2! It will only work with low profile ram! Remember you can’t move those fans!!!

My cooler has no lights working on it at all.. I connected the cable from the cooler into the controller, and nothing! Any tips?

20:53 You put the fans in Push/Push configuration?? Fan in front of the cooler need to put in Push and the one in the back in Pull configuration
If you start watching at 11:20, you can see the way the fans are designed, it looks like it is push-push but it is actually push-pull…
@@overclockersclub Oh ok. Weird design.
What is the exact measurement of length and width?
Sir, it will help me to reduce the temp of my 3700x?
Thanks,

cooler master ml120l Or Master air ma410m ??? for Ryzen 5 3600
este cooler va bien para un ryzen 5 5600x ?
How I can get an only color?
Do you have to use the included controller or can you do direct to mother board.
How do you just choose the colors as you want? Is there any way to do that?
Thermal imaging 👍👍
would this cooler fit in the 5000d airflow
I have a motherboard with a 3-pin rgb header, can I connect it directly to be controlled by aura sync?
yes. work fine
How will this cool the 2600x @4Ghz all core boost?
Is this a good heatsink for an AMD 3900x?
I just bought that cpu and I have the same question.
Does RGB work if it connects directly to the motherboard without the controller?
Yes, absolutely as long as the motherboard supports RGB.
