Louis got 3 yes because he actually sang mr brightside afterwards as a second song and did really good but they couldn't air it because x factor doesn't have the rights to the song so there's like no footage anywhere. So yes he didn't sound great with hey there delilah but I choose to believe that he sang amazing and deserved all 3 yes's. I still get pissed that he never got any solos during the beginning because Louis is one of my favourites and I love him so much. Extremely underrated member of the band in my opinion.
I was at my friend's party at the start of the year and got drunk and she put on one direction and I started crying because Louis got 4 yes's but Harry only got 3 HAHA
Liam voice is still the best like he has the largest range and along with Zayn has by far the most control in his voice in the group even now, Zayn had the potential he just had zero professional help back in X factor ngl its funny looking back and hes deffo improved the most to the point where he is genuinely an amazing singer now and we could see it from One thing, Live while youre young period how much he improved Harry actually sounds the same
To clear some things up, Niall auditioned at The Convention Centre Dublin, in Dublin, Ireland, where Katy Perry was the guest judge. Liam auditioned in Birmingham at the LG Arena, where the guest judge was Natalie Imbrugila. Harry auditioned at Manchester Central, in Manchester, however, one of the judges' was missing that day (Cheryl, I think), the guest judge was Nicole Scherzinger. Zayn also auditioned in Manchester. I'm not too sure about where Louis auditioned, but it may have been Manchester as well.
yeah, Zayn, Louis and Harry all auditioned in Manchester, how iconic, Zayn and Harry actually auditioned on the same day and were close by in the waiting line they even took a picture together before they become One direction outside in the line
the shambolicness of their auditions makes it more iconic, at first I thought the singing was meady, then they all started dancing and its so hilariously shit

January 2025 Fun Fact: 1D formed on my 3rd birthday and now I’m going to be 18 on July 23rd. I found them 10 years ago in 2015 when I was just 8 years old and like I mentioned I’m gonna be 18 this July.

X-Factor UK Season 7 2010 was a pretty crazy, annoying and frustrating season for Cheryl! 1. Some of the first auditions were in Dublin and had Katy Perry standing in for Danni Minogue(who was on maternity leave). Throughout that time you can see Cheryl getting a bit pissed as Katy kept upstaging her! From showing she can pseudo-stepdance in heels unlike Cheryl("Who's the Greatest Dancer now?! Hmmmm?"😁)to kinda setting up Cheryl to look like the bad guy. She agreed with Cheryl's NO vote on young cute Niall Horann UNTIL it came to announcing her own vote. Then she said YES and made Cheryl look like the meanie who got in the way of Niall's 1D destiny!!!😎 Directioners have never forgiven her for this!😄 On the plus side, Katey mimed squeezing Cheryl's butt in admiration!😆 2. Later on in the season, Cheryl collapsed from a near fatal dose of malaria! Ironically, she got it on a recent trip to africa to raise malaria awareness! Thus, she missed the next bunch of auditions and later the bootcamp phase. Her replacement was her future Arch-Nemesis Nicole Scherzinger!😆So it was at bootcamp that Nicole helped oversee the creation of One Direction! She and Simon have been arguing over who REALLY formed them for years! Something I'm sure Cheryl wishes she could claim!😂 And if you don't know about the Cheryl-Nicole rivalry, it apparently started back when both the Pussycat Dolls and Girls Aloud were in their heyday in the early 'oughts. Girls Aloud were asked about the PCD, and some of the Girls got a little bit TOO honest in their opinions. Particularly, Cheryl when she doubted Nicole's solo career prospects!😮 Time would prove Cheryl right on that last subject but, time would also seem to show Nicole always ready to swoop in and show up Cheryl! Prime example being in the next year in 2011, after Simon fired Cheryl from X-Factor USA(cuz no Americans knew who the hell she was😮)and replaced her with Nicole!!!!
