This is insane dedication. As someone who plays piano myself, recording this long song in one go, and restarting every time you mess up, I can only imagine the amount of hours of effort put into this, especially at this song, that insanely fast, and not choking is a challenge! You got my respect
Thanks! Yeah, it's one of the toughest "fast sections" of any Touhou piece. I believe it's up there with Plain Asia as far as difficulty goes...I guess ZUN really liked making insane piano parts for Touhou 8 lol

@@ViddyWellSA11 ZUN tends to be particularly recognizable and his works are almost all similiar to each other, even with all the differencies and innovations (your piano version of Kingdom of Nothingness helped me realize that by making me listen better to the melody within all the new soundfonts used in Touhou 19) so i guess that's why, even though everyone of us has a favoutire song, we can't really say the others are as almost good as the one we prefer. I couldn't explain what i mean any better, i used almost all my braincells today trying to be productive.

i loved this so much!!! truly the god of touhou covers haha. i couldn't help but notice that you said that you were self-taught! i also want to learn the piano but don't really have access to an actual teacher. was wondering how you first started and if you have any tips?
Thank you so much for your comment! To be honest, I'm not really good at giving tips since I'm not really sure what works and what doesn't. All I can say is that I first started by simply playing piano for hours and hours a day, realizing I was already kinda good at it and just kept going. I personally never asked for a teacher's help because I was incredibly stubborn and I wanted to learn these pieces all by myself. Unfortunately I'm kinda like that, but I guess it worked out in the end. However, that is not what I would personally recommend! Learning with a teacher is still the safest option. If you don't have access to that, you're gonna have to practice more than usual I feel like. It's totally possible to do it as a self-taught. There are also various tutorials online that cover some aspects about techniques and all that. But in the end it all comes down to you. If one really wants to learn piano, he/she will do it regardless of the method :)
