My dad used to blast this in his truck and i loved this whole album, that intro just hit me hard im in tears over this song and i never used to before love this band and lovw that my dad and i bonded over great bands like this linkin park, korn and plenty more even queensrhyche, rest in peace dad i love you
Dude is one of the coolest guys in rock IMO. He has that look like you wouldn’t wanna fuck with him, but he seems like a genuine nice guy. But there are front men, and then there are iconic front men.
Lajon is seriously one of the kindest dude's you'll meet. He doesn't have to worry about nobody messing with him either, the rock community and his band mates would get anyone who tries. That'll be a very bad day for that person.🤘🏼
Love my Sevendust brothers. This is an awesome video. One of the reasons they are still playing after 20 years is due to all their talent and dedication to their music and fans. One of my favorite bands
I saw Sevendust at "earth day birthday" in Orlando around 2008, the Headliner was Korn, he called Fieldy out on the stage during their set , "Can you see what's going on here, this is a Movement !" - Lajon He gets it !
been my dad's favorite band for longer than i've been alivei've grown up on this band and am very impressed with how they're live shows even 21 years after they released their debut still are still so fucking kickassi'm gonna try to catch them on their 2019 tour
I remember back in the day me trying to imitate Morgan Rose’s playing. I always thought that he had a weird way of playing that sounded funky but had an industrial electronic feel to it. I don’t know how to explain it.
@ Manoy Tv He still has huge monstrous vocals I saw them since this, last year in 2019 before the pandemic shutdown and he still has the full power I heard from the 2001-2002 Animosity tour which I saw as well. He’s obviously fatigued here (the sound recording has little to no bass) and as a singer, you still can have off days. I remember performing and some rehearsals were not so great but then a few days or a week later and I could sing incredibly with full power. He’s definitely still got it trust me 😎🤘🏻
Gonna guess age definitely. With the style he’s sung which is still beautifully done, it will take a hassle on your vocal cords especially as you get older.
Great performance. But I really hate it when singers don't sing all of the chorus, instead wanting the crowd to sing along louder. People don't pay to hear the crowd sing, they pay to hear you sing. And it just sounds bad when a singer cuts in and out of singing the lyrics like that. Great performance otherwise, but that is seriously one of my musical pet peeves.
Throwing the chorus to the crowd keeps the crowd involved and energetic. It's not their fault that there isn't mics set up to pick up the audio from the crowd.
Saw them live tonight and was very dissapointed. They messed up bad several times and several times LJ completely missed the vocals. I still love sevendust and they're still one of my favorite bands. But when half of the band goes into one part of the song and the other half goes to another part and LJ obviously forgot the words, it's dissapointing.
He lost his grandmother as they took the stage that evening, this is one of LJ's most heartfelt performances. Bless that man
That must of been hard
Heavy.
LJ is amazing to channel his emotions into this performance.
This is a man that has been through a lot of difficult things.
This might be a dumb question, but did he know before the concert started, or was he told afterwards?
@@spencernelson1580 i dont know really so take My word as burning sticks but probably by the Nature of the comment he knew
LJ is an awesome person.
lajon witherspoon is one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time
no fucking question about it
love you man
For real
Lajon is THE greatest metal vocalist of all time. Just my opinion, of course.
One of the greatest frontmen ever, that's for sure
My dad has seen sevendust 20 times and literally has Lajon’s phone number they r really good friends
that must be amazing since u get to meet him as well if u want
Lucky man
Awesome!
🧢 🧢 🧢
So cool
this band still rock on.. one of the best of the NU metal band of 90s still existed until today..

Brandon Murray Great father, he raised you the right way with great music. Sorry about your loss friend.
I wish I had had that kind of connection with my Dad growing up, but I was always the long hair freak that couldn't do any good

The emotions you get from these guys! So powerful it's unreal!
Morgan Rose might be one of the best groove drummers in hard rock/metal of all time man...Dude is so damn solid.
I loooove this song so much!❤
Down ass singer. Dude is hella cool a respectful! Hopefully I will meet him one day!
Love my Sevendust brothers. This is an awesome video. One of the reasons they are still playing after 20 years is due to all their talent and dedication to their music and fans. One of my favorite bands
This band brings it 100% every time. Going to their show in May in Denver for my 3rd time seeing them.
Jason Requa lucky bastard ;)
What a killer performance from Morgan Rose

Dudes keep on rocking years later! One of my favs!
This is a true frontman
Love that bass kick!

I could cry from his first scream. I really could
I have so much love for Sevendust. What a GREAT band.
I love Sevendust! They mean the world to me and they always will be one of my favorite bands of all time
Lj is a beautiful beast. 🔥❤🔥
It’s the Stage Presence for me 💁🏾♀️🖤
Hey they are, the most underrated band in history!!! Rock on Lajon!!¡
one of my favorite songs I love
Lajon's clean vocals are almost as intimidating and killer as his screams, definately a great metal singer.
I remember back in the day me trying to imitate Morgan Rose’s playing. I always thought that he had a weird way of playing that sounded funky but had an industrial electronic feel to it. I don’t know how to explain it.
Beautiful bastard, amazing band. You lift me up when i'm in the downward spiral.
Going to get to finally see them at Rocklahoma so excited have loved them forever
there was one time i saw them live & thought i was gonna lose hearing..it was sooOOoOoO loud😂👌🏼🔥
Dude, these guys bring it. Great song.
To think i have only seen these guys perform once in my life is nowhere near good enough. I need to see them again. Please come play the UK.

@@man0war9993 love to hear that. dont forget soon to upload your video when you saw them live. love to wait for it too :)
I net lajon and morgan after a show in Houma la over a spat with a bartender over a beer...it was me that started it
Play princess
So Bad Ass
x
I love this band and Witherspoon is an amazing singer. It just seems he has a hard time getting all the intense notes out. I wonder why.
stoner3774 can’t keep pitch for shit.....every live video of theirs, he is so out of tune.
Shelster 99 not true . this is the only video live ive ever seen him struggle .
I know what u mean. Think because he has to get his voice over the heavy music. Listen to an acoustic show and his voice is so smooth
He's holding back tears. His grandmother passed that night

Crowd is weak. Shame
They are in the dark and the mics aren't picking them up at all. Trust me they were rocking, I was there
it was in lorain, ohio which would explain the people
NOPE!
Gipsy Avenger 🖕
He lost his voice totally.. He can't even sing
