    My version of this classic cardigan turned out beautifully, thanks to excellent instruction and a carefully thought-out design. I found the tutorial very easy and enjoyable to follow and the design very easy to customize for size and preferred fit. I opted for tapered sleeves, so I decreased by one stitch every other round, beginning on the fifth round. I also added a single round of crab stitches to the wrist edge to lend a bit of weight and strength. I love that the underarm seam is perfectly straight, just as we were assured it would be, and I just love the design with all the lovely and varied textures. Thanks, Lenysea, for sharing your creativity, time, and talent with all of us. I love my new fall sweater. I think I will wear this one a lot! xox

    Hi Elena!
    I never ever write comments on RUclips but for you I will make an exception. You are the reason I got started with crochet! I just wanted to take the time to thank you so so much for all of the time and effort that you put into your tutorials. Without you I would be totally lost! Thanks to you, I am getting better and more confident every day and I can create things I never thought I would!
    From the bottom of my heart thank you, and I hope you continue to make these beautiful and helpful tutorials for a long time!
    ❤❤❤

      @@Lenysea Oh my gosh thank you so much for replying! You definitely do help me so much - turns out crochet is great for relaxing my anxious little mind and making me focus. I'm currently working on your transitional cardigan and I am really enjoying it but I struggle with sewing the panels together. I hope you are well! Thank you again!

    I love making your top's they always fit nice but I was just wondering if I could make this in a DK weight yarn, I don't have any other yarn left and can't afford to buy online . thanks for the help and the great patterns

      I don't see why not. Simply chain the number of multiples to fit the size you are planning on making and carry on with the pattern.

      Umm.. I wore sz Small back then. If you chained enough for sz XL, then you crochet too tightly :)

    • @sigridkutz5170
      @sigridkutz5170 5 лет назад +1

      To Maria doll: Measure your widest body part , take half of that amount and chain to get that same measurement, just make sure you can devide that amount of stitches by 10 (because the pattern is a multiple of 10), I hope that helps.
