Besides the Brazen Bull of Phalaris, I think Taurox may have also taken inspiration from the Colchis Bulls of Greek mythology, specifically from Jason and the Argonauts. These were two immense bulls with bronze hooves and bronze mouths through which they breathed fire. Jason had to battle the bulls as part of his quest to retrieve the Golden Fleece.

    • @hellhog3252

Got to admit I never been the best man. I managed to complete all achievement and Quest battles with the help of mods before this DLC.And I'm not the best at playing Total War so I get easy battle easy campaign I didn't know he was supposed to restart his movements somehow but I never saw that button and I did his entire campaign without it and win.

I’ve played TW: Empires a little bit… but I never fully committed to a round past 50ish turns. Fast forward to me purchasing TW: Warhammer collection on a steam sale for $50, I just conpleted my first full campaign with The Empire. It was a blast, lots of battles and politics through 300 turns. Enjoyed the play though so much, I decided to buy all the DLC for all the games on sale too (thank you Counter Strike for the god roll Factory New Bayonet Fade, you’ve been funding all my stupid gaming purchases for a lifetime to come). On this second playthrough, I’m using the Beastmen in Warhammer II. Those dicks really gave me troubles my last playthrough, but I’m here for the slaughter now. No politics, just scorched earth. The amount of anabolic jokes in this video caught me off guard and had me cackling

Ah Taurox one of the most fun campaigns in TWW2 and what a return to form for the Beastmen... is what I would say if they had any form to return to other than being shit till this DLC dropped. Anyway while Taurox was killed in the End Times siege of Altdorf by Markus Wulfhart who then kinda walked off and wasn't heard from again, Taurox is actually mentioned in Age of Sigmar kinda of. In that setting the Beastmen, specifically the ones that worship Khorne, believe in the Brass Bull which rampages in the sky. Also random note, Skarsnik is also kind of in AoS as a referenced minor moon that circles around the Bad Moon that the Grots (copyrightable goblins) worship so thats neat.
