A friend at work asked if I would give it a try and when I said I was a bit apprehensive, she insisted, saying it was an old phone that wasn't used and she just wanted to have someone try and fix it. I just sat down 40 minutes ago, found your video and followed you. Everything works. You really do a great job and I like how comfortable you are with it. Great job!

The replacement its a brand new screen.
Yes! 2 weeks ago i redo everything and there was a little cable unplugged. Now its workingvery good... as new. I just have to place some glue around de inside screen. What type of glue do i have to use?
I followed this and everything went fine. I replaced the unit with a screen+digitizer combo. The problem is that when I am on the phone the mobile network does not work at all. I'm lost as I've checked all the cables and antenna and they are all on. Any ideas on what is going on??
Hi ,can i know how to confirm is the lcd screen got problem as I've drop the galaxy note 2 on the floor. after that when I switched on back, the screen doesn't display anything. the display light is on but the screen display showed nothing. please advise
+Danny Lee Thanks btw my phone had dropped and the screen was shattered so I ordered the screen and I tried to put it on last night but it seems that the lcd was already damaged I was wondereing do you know how much it might cost if I go to a professional to get it done ? and is the lcs that aluminum like piece under the screen ?
+Lillian Stoakley (Rg) Where you from? I'm from Malaysia. I sent it to shop to change the whole set of lcd (with the aluminium set) cost me about USD130. This need to be done by profesional shop. Is very complicated if you change on your own.
The note 2 has a smoot plastic backplate while the note 3 has a fake leather-like backplate. Just check which kind of backplate you have and you´ll know ;)

Pretty good video, but you forgot to connect the antenna RF cable to the motherboard.
So if I'm correct, I can buy a new screen and put all the elements (such as the motherboard) back in de empty and new lcd case?

so do you not know of using plastic tools on flex cables it makes it harder to damage the flex cables

Just check out a pic of the note 2 and one of the note 3. They dont look alike at all
