    So many of the boat videos show sunny conditions/people in shorts standing near the bow drinking a glass of wine/a couple of knots of wind/designer sunglasses/blue clear water/sailing within view of the coastlines aesthetic sun sets.This video shows why HalBR is the boat I would by if/when able. Handling the North Sea with all its changing conditions/attention grabbing wind/wave conditions/waves breaking over the sides-draining from the cockpit/ electronics that can be trusted/ease of furling the sails and having the boat staying firm/long and solid thru the toughest conditions.HalBR is the only true yacht to own because experience of sailing combined with a outstanding quality build and tested will get you safely to where you want to be.
    Will be watching more of the line ups HalBR videos.

      What did you expect from a 3.5 million boat??? Rubbish,,!!!???3.5 million starting price,halberg rassy= good expensive boat,but they should not be hyped like they lots off people like to do,there are lots off equally good boats on the water.

    Cable tie tip! Have a small file or sand paper stored with the ties to take the edge off the cut end. Not only will it keep from wearing in to anything near it, it will keep you from getting cut when you go to do full repair.

    I've been waiting for a video which shows Hallberg Rassy 69 sailing, this video showed it all, great performance and minimal roll, the hard dodger provides great protection. I'm sure all of you on board enjoyed the trip even with Orca alert, I will watch part two, keep it up and stay safe.

    Like to see this boat perform, hope to do this route on a cat though. No more monohull.
    But those orcas… I think it time for Orca sushi, their protection does not make any sense in comparison with anything else we humans do you sea life.. wonder how we protect tunas, sharks, “by catch”… rest my case.
    Nice boat on the outside.

    My favourite hallberg rassy. just stunning. Does anyone know why these orcas do this. Is it just in this body of water or is this happening around the world in other bodies of water.

    • @philipwright7186
      @philipwright7186 2 месяца назад +2

      It's just this family of orca that have taken up this habit. It started in 2020, so far nobody really knows why. It might have been triggered by the change in human behavioral patterns, but it is limited to this family although they travel between Gibraltar and the northern regions of Biscay. There is some suggestion it started when an orca was injured by a boat, possibly a fishing boat, but experts suggest the orca aren't being aggressive (by their standards), just playing.

    • @finaboykm
      @finaboykm 2 месяца назад

      Some people claim it’s about the rudders/ ultrasound vibration or the boat is their new play toy. I wonder how they would react if you used the sound of a fog horn thru a tube stuck in the water because of the Orcas sensitivity to high frequencies?

    It's certainly very comfortable, well built and efficient but charming and sould uplifting certainly not. That interior wood colour (sort of beige) reminds me of cheap german hotels of the seventies/eighties. The deck is apparently not teak anymore, well it really shows. Probably more of a boat to live with than to look at.

    I was under the impression that a national flag flying at the stern was an indication that the owner was onboard and that he/she is from Sweden ?

    • @MarkTreacherYachtDeliveries
      @MarkTreacherYachtDeliveries 2 месяца назад

      The flag just indicates the country the vessel is registered in.

    • @Team33Team33
      @Team33Team33 2 месяца назад

      @@MarkTreacherYachtDeliveries I'd look that up if I were you. The flagstaff at the stern means that the owner is aboard.
      The nationality of the boat should be flown underneath the national flag of the country you are visiting - usually on the shrouds.

    • @paulwilliams3494
      @paulwilliams3494 2 месяца назад

      I think that is true of the Royal Standard relating to when the monarch is in on board or in residence but no Britannia anymore. 😣😉

    • @Team33Team33
      @Team33Team33 2 месяца назад

      @@paulwilliams3494 It is definitely true. It started with the monarchs (because they were the only ones who could afford large yachts) but it became customary for all yachts in the 1900's.
      I'm surprised a professional captain has no idea of this OR that he should hoist the flag of the country he is visiting above his own country's flag on the shrouds....
      Weird.

    • @paulwilliams3494
      @paulwilliams3494 2 месяца назад

      I'll be perfectly clear, I'm not questioning anyone's actions or professionalism. I have no qualifications to do so, have you? Either way if I was asked in a general knowledge question what a flag on a little pole at the stern of a private yacht signified I would definitely say simply the country that was registered in. In my area of the United Kingdom I see lots of red ensigns flying similarly, so what does that signify ?

  • @soggybottom3463

    Can't help but comment ref the Orcas. They don't seem to be stopping this behaviour on their own, and it seems to me there is a high chance of this group teaching their nasty little hobby to other pods. The "authority" position is apparently that there is nothing to be done. I think the current "authority" needs firing, given the amount of time this distressing, damaging and dangerous situation has been allowed to continue, with not even a suggestion of a remedy in sight.

    • @finaboykm
      @finaboykm 2 месяца назад

      I wonder if using a fog horn via a tube stuck in the water would stop these orcas from damaging their new “ play toy”. If their hearing is so sensitive/ such a pitch from the fog horn would be disruptive and disorienting?

    • @JohnJohn-cu7nk
      @JohnJohn-cu7nk Месяц назад +1

      THEY need to get a couple of Yatchts out with an electrified keel and rudders and purposefully interact with the orcas to change their behaviour.They use electricity in rivers to stun fish , so the technology isn't that difficult

    • @soggybottom3463
      @soggybottom3463 Месяц назад +1

      @@JohnJohn-cu7nk Good post, why not? If this problem goes on, they will end up culling the culprits. Maybe more, as they have had chance to pass the habit on. Insanity. But that's "the authorities" eh? 🙄
