Do you remember when he had Barry Manilow on, and it was totally cool? I expected him to kind of rip him, but he was totally respectful, played a bunch of his hits, and asked him to perform. It was refreshing, and I'm not really a Manilow fan. Seems like I remember him having the Plasmatics on, too!

Hey grunge god your music was a fad like high tops and light-up sneakers it's a shame that you weren't smart enough to leave the early 90s probably as a result of you gaining personal and " intimate" Knowledge from your own mother LOL LOL LOL LOL loser

Justis David Mustaine was 6 months old here. He's like ... 32 years old, now. dang. Good times LMAO.
Dave got real AF in that interview, lmao. I think everyone was surprised, including Arsenio. And the crowd loved it, for sure.

Kirk relys greatly on hammer ons and pullaways. Megadeth's guitarists are much more skilled and don't use that heavy wah effect.

no, there actually wasn't, not in the thrash style. it was invented in the early 80's by them just playing their style.dave invented it, slayer played their own thrash and so did anthrax.

Dave did not invent _thrash_ ... He does know how to do it. Canadian thrash scene was breaking out even in the late 70's, about the same time Slayer was still jamming out in a garage. I would say Black Sabbath was the biggest motivator, and it really took off in London, first.

In the 80's I'd say they were equal, with both having exceptional music. But in 1990 metallica turned to shit and megadeth kept to their roots.
