Jack needs to use a smaller hose and far less water pressure when washing off the spoils. If there were any more bits of parchment, flecks of metal or even small gems, he's washed them away.
ever since i read the Reader Digest article way back. ive been hooked. but if they never find treasure. maybe they'll solve the mystery. who, what, when, & why. its the hunt that matters.
Just get some big machines and dig out a big area surrounding it and install several well points around it to help keep the water level down and just dig slow until u eventually find what's down there. Yea it would be alot of material to move and dig but u would finally be able to see what's really down there. I fill like they just dig a bunch of holes here and there and find wood lol

Sink a 100' diameter cassion around the center of the 48" borehole to 225'. Pump it out as much as possible, then dig down to bottom. More they mess around the hole, the less likely they'll recover anything. It's like finding a lost person. Set a perimeter, and keep reducing the perimeter until found.
Its always disappointing when you experience the fall of your plug.

I love this show! But can someone please explain how anything could have been buried so deep in the first place? Two hundred plus years ago all they had were shovels and their hands to dig with. The Lagina team is using the most modern digging and locating equipment available, and they’ve been at it for what, 5 or 6 years.

Im assuming your just upset over the fact that they havnt found any crazy amount of treasure, leaving you disappointed, yet you continue to watch?!?... I wouldn't really say that is their fault but more history channels fault for making a show out of it!... These guys were all dumping money and time into this treasure hunt (aka their life long hobby and passion) decades before history came along to make a show of it, and they will continue to do so long after history is done with them! As the OP said, these are all good very passionate men!

Anyway, HISTORY Channel aren’t you gonna do a show about searching for Cleopatra’s tomb? it would really be a huge breakthrough in Archaeology and History and I’m sure there would be lots of treasures there just like King Tut’s tomb.

So the people who put the treasure they are after over 150ft down in a hole that would have flooded instantly as they are below the water table trying to dig it, in a giant wood box that would have had to fit in the hole they dug, then filled it in again so that even modern machinery and manpower can't excavate it......then those same people expected to come back in their lifetime and simply dig it up again ????

How is it that they have all this modern equipment and back in the day...they dug that deep with hand tools???
The " ancients" incorporated the micmac native tribe to do the labor and im guessing slaughtered them after they accomplished their mission but that part will never be divulged. With documentation of 3 chests found and a " pirate" living on the island as well as the former slave/traitor thete was much treasure already recovered. They delve into possibilities of deeper undiscovered treasures that seem to have been boobytrapped and could be priceless " religious artifacts but until the " floodtunnel" problem is solved and the various shafts are dry, we wont likely see any treasure. The quest to locate the " original money pit" ( name needs to be changed just to change the perspective) seems to be as elusive as locating the vault and verifying whether theres anything there. Shutting the water off would promote digging a large area up but canada likely wouldnt allow that either tho they stand to steal the most from the collective endeavor. Stakes went up when americans pursued their dreams

i find this most interesting but over time I see the toll it is taking on these men hope their journey comes to and end soon for them to go back to the lives..........
